I already knew the pack took good care of Nigel but hearing the specific things they do to help me almost made me tear up they’re so sweet! Thanks for sharing all the info on hyenas and wild dogs

Great videos regarding the hyenas and the painted dogs. I never knew that much about the hyenas did not know they were that intelligent. its nice to learn something new in my old age as I am over 70 now. Again thanks so much.

Two of my favorite animals! Brown hyenas are my favorite, but all four hyena species are so incredibly intelligent and misjudged.

I went to a zoo today and their enclosure was disgusting... to give a picture about how small it was; it was probably about three times bigger than the squirrel enclosure, and the squirrel enclosure was about two and a half feet buy maybe four feet. I feel so bad for them... they need space.

What you're looking at there is one training area. Predator Ridge has two very large yards, a smaller maternity yard for young pups and cubs, and several large behind-the-scenes holding areas. Training areas are meant to be small so the animal can focus on working with the keeper. They're only in those spaces for short amounts of time.

In the wild the average is 15 years and they can live up to 30 in captivity. Evidently she doesn’t know too much about her own hyenas

Molly is correct that the high-end of the life span in the wild is 20, and the highest known in human care is 40. The averages of wild (12-15) and human care (30-40) lifespans would be in the high teens.
