This is the commercial you've seen for your entire childhood, and well into your later years. You know it's awesome. And then there is the Sears air conditioner commercial.
I know you’ll remember this commercial too ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Hxwin9XFbnQ.html. They always played it on Nickelodeon on almost every commercial break.
Legend has it that if you get every ZooBook, animal sticker, AND The Tiger Poster and put them in a circle made of salt, you will know about everything in the universe.
I was born in 95 so growing up in the early 00's I saw this commercial all the time on cartoon network. Only commercial I never skipped 😁 that and the Betty Crocker commercial with those giant round cakes lol
Always wanted to get the damn Betty Crocker Bake N’ Fill pan so I could make a yellow cake with chocolate frosting and chocolate pudding for the inner filling. 😋
Josh D it literally forced us to age by taking time from our lives and making us wait. I wonder how many seconds/hours/days cumulatively we spent being interrupted by animal stock photos
Such Nostalgia. I remember seeing these commercials all the time as a kid growing up in the 2000's. I was born in 99. I have the lines the speaker says stuck in my head still. 😂
POV: It's a hot summer day in July 2006, and your at home with the AC blasting you are watching Foster's Home on CN and this commercial comes on every 2 or so minutes, you have absolutely no worry in the world. Life was good back then, no college, no COVID, no social media...just good times
Lol, that's a funny and great reaction from your younger self. By the way, that icon is Mightyena from Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Red/Blue Rescue Team! I love that game and it's my favorite Mystery Dungeon game (well, the only one I've played, but still)!
Dude, I did and it also came with a whole bunch of cards that had facts about animals as well. And I got a sticker sheet. My family was poor and my mom surprised me. One of the most thoughtful gifts I ever got. I really wanted to be a veterinarian.
I dunno why but as a kid I always laughed at how the word "Ocean" matches perfectly with that big fish eating the little fish. It's so ingrained in my head that when I hear the word ocean, I picture that one fish eating the small one.
“Scientifically accurate illustrations.” I’m almost 23 and remember this ad from when I was little. I have an 8-year-old brother who has no clue what this commercial is😂. Even if I’m not that old I still feel old.
Man, I'm nearly 30 and now I feel like rereading some old Zoobooks that I haven't read since I was a kid (I wonder how much of the animal facts are still true, and how much of them have become dated, lol)! ^^
They were actually low key pretty nice magazines, they all came with a poster, had really pretty pictures of the animals in them, super easy for kids to read, and had fun games and comics in them.
Man this brought a lot of nostalgic memories for me! I watched these commercials at home or at my best friend's house when I was younger! Man those were the good days when everything was fine and dandy.....
Man on tv : _You must be 18 years or older to cal_ 7 year old me: damn it 20 year old me: ha ha... *Calls* _the subscriber you are trying to reach is no longer available... Goodbye_
It is so deeply ingrained in my subconscious that it feels as though I've been hearing it every day for my whole life, all the way up to now. But I haven't heard this in 10+ years. The mind is amazing
I love how the angler fish opens its mouth perfectly in sync with “and the dark depths of the ocean” lmfao he’s the narrator of the commercial as far as I’m concerned
these kids have MONKEYS in their houses and they're reading magazines. edit: first time any comment of mine has made it past 100 likes and now its at 1k. Thanks.
It's like I never stopped watching this commercial. You know what I mean? It's like not even nostalgia, it's like I watch this and I am like, "yup I am watching this again." Like nothing has changed, I just always been watching it. I don't know if I am describing it right but it is a weird feeling watching this. Like a vivid memory that never faded or distorted.
Tell you what, if you can find me a full color photo of a living, breathing dinosaur. I will personally buy the entire collection of zoo books and hand deliver them to you.
To be fair back then they hadn't invented color yet (it was invented in the 1960's) so those are FULL color because that's all the colors they had to work with back in 1745
I loved when these commercials came on when I was a kid. Plus these were the only things I would read/check out one of these magazines from the school library.
A few years ago an ex girlfriend and I rented a motel room just to make bang all night and to get away that fucking shirley temple commercial played probably 100 times. Imagine fucking with that commercial coming on over and over
science is about trying to get the BEST possible answer based on the current available evidence present during the time. They obviously didn't know back then since lack of current data.
@@Gadget-Walkmen If this commercial was shot in the 90's then it's highly likely science knew what the correct posture of a Tyrannosaurus was. Also, it was extremely rare for larger dinosaurs to have feathers. I've been doing research for a school project and there is is only evidence for one member of the tyrannosaurid family with feathers- Yutyrranus Huali. There are also preserved skin impressions of the Tyrannosaurus with scaly skin.
I remember seeing this every commercial break on Cartoon Network back in the day. Is it pathetic that I can't remember a single algebraic equation from years of school, but I can still remember every word of this commercial? lol
Tigers have always been my favorite animal, I remember wanting this poster so badly every time I saw this commercial come on when I was a kid. Plus that voice of the narrator was so distinctive takes me right back to those days.
I remember I had bought one for my favorite animal, wolves, but ended up cutting out all the pictures to make a scrapbook. Funny how you think these kinda things will always be around until they're not, and before you know, it's been 20 years but this video takes you right back.
@@KING-bt1tm Being fun at parties implies you're creative and charming. Repeating a joke everyone's seen a million times tells me you're a fucking square.
Childhood memories are kicking in hard. I remember while growing up as a kid in the late 1990s and early 2000s, this commercial would come on every time while I'm waiting for Rugrats to come back on. God, I miss those days so much.
