I've been binge watching all videos on Zsa Zsa Gabor and read all the comments on the videos of her... and I've come to the conclusion that you have to love Zsa Zsa Gabor...she is unlike anyone else in the world ever... she's out spoken, honest (whether what she says is true or not.. lol... ), she is hysterically funny and is able to make fun of herself... you gotta love this woman.. she is something else... RIP Zsa Zsa Gabor...
She really is... I know alot of people don't like her, but I think she's wonderful... Her sister Eva seems really nice and sweet, but Zsa Zsa is way more fun and funnier for sure...

I have been binge watching Zsa Zsa also, this week!!! She was some kind of colorful dame! What a hoot!!!! How I miss the entertainers of my youth. Merv Griffin had some GREAT shows also! People should stay young forever! She and Eva were quite the knockouts!!!!
Back then I didnt like ZsaZsa. I thought she was a stuck up, no talent nobody. But now that Im older and look back at these I realize how brilliant and talented she really was. She came from war torn Hungary in the 40's....married powerful men who could help her, worked hard to make a name for herself in some good early movies. Then found she could make a pretty good living by being "Zsa Zsa" on TV. She showed up when she had to and it paid off. At a time when women could could have just married rich and then shop and lunch with the girls....ZsaZsa was out there booking her next gig. She made her mark. She had a work ethic when she really didnt have to. I now admire her and appreciate all she was. Thumbs up to her and God bless her soul.
i literally bumped in zsa zsa back in early 90s in S monica - she was so nice, funny not like people say or think about her she flirted with me, and commented on my height - and she ref to me as dah-kink lol
Zsa Zsa was so beautiful.. if you really look. Her features... and, sure she had a lot of work, but boy, she looks so natural.. and gorgeous.. I saw her in public once, up pretty close and she was very striking with just street makeup..

They hid the fact that they were Jewish so they weren't ridiculed during the 1940s and 1950s... and of course, they hid it for the rest of their lives. Plus, Eva's husband (one of them) didn't like Jewish people. So, they held a Catholic wedding! According to Jolie, that is.
Emily Spangler They didn't have to hide being jewish in the US. Plus i lived with a guy for 5 years who knew the family from childhood, and used to be Eva's sweetheart when they were kids. I heard a lot about the whole family.
davidpar2 They never converted to Catholicism. Although Magda called herself roman catholic she never officially "converted".especially not in Hungary. I just read the Hungarian Wikipedia about the family and i also knew someone who grew up with them.... If they converted i think we would all know about it, i don't think they would keep it a secret. The cross might have been a "mockery" on Zsa-zsa's part...? I don't know but it's strange....
I found out the last name was originally Grün, not Gabor. The father's birth name was also Farkas, not Vilmos. He changed both to seem more Hungarian and less Jewish. He changed his first name in the early 1900s, and his last name in 1916 - so Magda would have been one years old (Zsa Zsa was born in 1917 and Eva in 1919). I know Eva went to church. It's possible they really did believe and never converted (many reasons could be applicable: one being to not leave behind their heritage). What do you think, Meledith? I would love to chat with you about your friend who knew them! I have some questions, especially regarding Magda. :)
