Wait she died it what year i know she was 99.she lived very long life.yes she was drop dead gorgeous.just hard to believe she was 37.iam 34 going to be 35.makes you feel hound if you were to live as long as she did.
Erik Emerölduson she was teased about her accent and the way she spoke English for all of her public figure life. Most of it was lighthearted fun, but some of it was genuinely picking on her. Instead of calling it “xenophobia” or something dumb like that, as a modern day celebrity probably would, she made it the punch line of her career and made money off of it. It ended up being one of the things she was most known (and loved) for
OMG I forgot how much I LOVED her laugh! Give yourself a treat elsewhere on RU-vid and watch the clip of Zsa Zsa and David Letterman (!) cruising for fast food. Hilarious!
They where so creative in that time. Even with making up names for the upcoming stars.. who comes up with this zsa zsa gabor or marilyn monroe. Really smart and amazing. Old hollywood was a class act. Too bad it is the opposite today.
her mother named her after a famous Hungarian actress of the same name Sari and when she heard that she was referred to as Zsa Zsa by her own daughter, she began calling her own daughter Zsa Zsa
Yes, she was a Gold Digger, but she EARNED every ounce of it! She had made her way - as smart sassy Jewish Princess - thru Fascist Hungary/Austria, post Ottoman Empire and Arabia - with good looks, charms, sophistication (picking up languages as she needed them) and wit! And ended up as a “refugee” marrying Hilton! This is a WOMAN who knew who she was... what she had... and USED IT to rise HIGH above her birth right....
I like her a lot...Kind of a shame that they made her in to a joke later in her life...Or maybe she had a lot to do with it..Fame isn't easy to manage nor is the image one creates..That applies to life in general for all of us too I have learned as well..
Hardly anyone today knows the legendary "ever ready" extremely well-hung stud Porifirio Rubirosa whom she had an affair with! She called him the love of her life. I wonder why?
Oh, no, she is letting the MAN know he is pleasing her... and he is totally flustered... But some guys prefer women who are direct, confrontational, critical to the point of being demeaning and don’t have a hint of her wit. To each their own... she’s my poison and I would sip it slowly 😏
Honestly the interviewer tanked it. He starts off by talking about her family leaving Hungary and the family that was left behind knowing full well the toll WW2 had on Europe. You can instantly see her soured mood being reminded of that.
