I randomly saw this.. I'll comment and share. The purpose of his set up or at least what he achieved is to mimic the factory connection tube that goes to airbox and is pressurized. I own a zx11c I did jet swap and other mods. I ended up running twin independent tubes. It cleaned up my response by balancing the pressure and letting the carbs breathe. So there's my point and advice. Ditch the combined hose idea on the carb vents, and run 2 tubes... that'll do great either factory or modded carbs. Those vent tubes are designed to be pressurized ! Also if it's a monster to start , and smokes fuel that's a bad float seal...
I tried this mod last night however the hose coming from the carbs stop in the air bowl. They do not protrude all the way to the end of the ram air intake. My bike would only go up to 6k rpm and 45 mph. If I extend the hose all the way to the grill like you have done, will my bike run properly as it did before?
I did this as to keep the ram air system to regain full power as without ram air you lose power to see the difference disconnect the ram air and try your up the road
Alrite mate will this work for a zx6r the same I am losing top end power as I have streetfighter my bike stopping at 120mph when I was getting 145 50, gutted is this a simple thing to do. Be great for your help
@@Selfbuiltcampers. yes should the same principle you just need large tubes for the air and then the smaller tubes which pressurises the float bowls to help force the fuel in for fuel air ratio
