Haha, that ball joint remover tool was a bonus to remove that four slotted swing arm nut. It would've meant a "special" tool by Kawasaki and probably cost $100 too. Can you link that part so I can look into buying one ? I hope it wasn't too dear. I thought of just making one up from an old socket but if it's cheap enough I'd rather buy one.
I'm going to have a go at fitting an F swingarm to my E2 bike. Not sure when I will get a chance to, but hopefully soon. I'm pretty sure it will fit, but not entirely certain. Have you any idea mate ?
Whats the model number of that sealey tool please mate, and did it fit nice and snug, I hate looking at nuts and bolts etc that look like they've been removed with a hammer.
hey mate dunno of you'll ever read this but I just wanted to ask can the swingarm bolt and nut be switchwed sides? so the so the small hole in the bolt is on the left? and the nut with the hole can be insteted from the right? from the kawsaki parts drawings it shows the bolt (with small hole) being inseerted from the left stand side and the nut being on the right. the reason being I bought a constands skylift used and it should slot into my left side of the bike witht the small hole in the swimarm bolt, although it only fits on the right because for some reason my bike has the swing arm bolt coming in from the right non stand side. basically askinking if the final hollow nut and bolt can be switched diecrtion so I can just switch them back and use my new bike lift thanks if you can help!
Noel Porter Make sure the swing arm bolt is in the correct way as per the manual, I use a ABBA stand and use the correct adapters with no problems. If the stand does not fit it must have the wrong adapter plate or something.
