Big Z never gets down on his knees that what i like about him. When his opponents are tired kneeling on the ground hes standing preparing for another rep.

4 Worlds Strongest Man Titles 8 Arnold Strongman Classic Titles 3 Europe Strongest Man Titles 15 Lithuania's Strongest Man Titles Has held the log lift world record for 14 years Will there ever be a better strongman?
Marius was the most athletic, most agile in speed events. He had the best combination of agility, endurence, and strength. But more emphasis should be put towards overall absolute maximum static strength. After all It is the worlds strongest man. Zydrunas was the man in that respect.
@Dony Dox You can easily forget about Hall, one WSM title, no Arnolds, one record that was broken in gym and soon to be broken in competition. He might be remembered for his big mouth, but apart from a big deadlift, he has no legacy whatsoever.
@@Hardistul how are you comparing a world record set at a gym with your own personal shit than in a competition?. That world record that bjornsson beat shouldn't even exist because of that reason it wasnt in competition.
@@drewmontoya3838 Does it count as a competition when the competitor (Hall) sets the increments and pauses ? (Benni Magnusson waited some 20 minutes between lifts so Hall could lift when he was ready). And how about the lockout (or rather the lack of). A more severe (read "serious") referee would have kept his hand up until the shaking stopped (hall was shivering as a newborn roe deer). But I guess it's OK because "it was a competition". Also, it was a valid world record when the same Hall beat the 18” deadlift while pulling 2 crates filled with his books (falling of the pile no less) in a cafeteria. Regardless of what Hafthor did in his gym, that record will soon be broken. Ivan Makarov nearly pulled 501 in competition (got stuck bellow the knees), and he said that he will attempt 520 ish when the quarantine lifts, and I am inclined to think he will get at least a 505. Either way, Hall's prediction that his record will stand for decades has fallen flat. All this being said, Hall is a pygmy compared to the likes of Jon Pall, Big Z, Brian Shaw, Mariusz Pudzianowski, Bill Kazmaier or Magnus ver Magnusson.
He is the reason I'm starting my strongman career next year.hes always been a big role model and there's just so much he's done he never gives up and works his ass off all the time.mames me proud that I met him too.
He's the best ever so far and let me tell you why: first of all he holds many records which i'm sure will be broken in time but he did it all with consistency and grace. Also he's the most humble and nicest person around unlike some of the other competitors. The overall package makes him number 1. Respect.
@@chais1111 Yeah a real class act when he said the Arnold was fixed after Z beat him in 2016. Yet you dislike Thor because he more or less did the exact same thing lmao.
If you saw this guy walking down the street you'd think theres a big dude who doesnt miss a meal. You probably wouldnt think there goes the strongest human who's ever walked the earth..
There is literally no argument for anyone else IMO, no one has been this consistently dominant over so many years, versatile in so many different types of competition, on so many different events both heavy and light, for reps or weight, moving or static, or held so many world records while also being well-rounded enough to win full shows. Brian is a distant second, had a similar career just less successful, and Thor is distant again in third, having all the ability but only at his peak for a few years
How about 2015 with Eddie in there competing as well, them being the top 4 as probably the strongest 4 men of all time was something special....i think Tom Stoltman can get there as well in a couple more years, certainly the greatest stone lifter
@danielrichardson4868 Eddie hall not even in the conversation Heavily overrated by the English media Who always overrate their athlete Even the one that Eddie won it had 2 deadlift … Funniest shit I have ever seen
9:38 I can see Laurence Shahlaei there with a big smile on his face, while other competitors are just looking and not even clapping at Big Z's perfect keg toss :D
3:34 That is the difference. He lifted that like there was no weight in his hands. I've never seen anyone overhead press like Big Z could. Stongest man in history.
@@hazedaddy1037 maan, why u hateful? Just look what we have: Haskethall, history, strongmen, highly rising edonomy, friendly people, human rights, some seacoast. There's alot to be proud of, idk what you mean
My favorite lift from him was the tire deadlift and the nod since Shaw went before him and couldn’t budge it then Big Z comes out and makes it seem like 200 strongest ever
I don't know all strongman that ever existed. There could have been a few freaks of strength in the past. But in terms of people I know in modern times let's say, big z and hall are top two
In fairness, he had more competition when he competed at WSM (fellow 4x WSM winner Shaw). Plus, he also took breaks from it to get records and titles at other events and powerlifting.
losing against brian shaw and mariusz pudzianowski ain't no shame. being on top of the sport in all federations, constantly being among the top 3 athletes for 15 years in a row, that is not jist respectable, that's legendary.
@THE PREDATOR But he has more titles in total. Honestly this discussion is useless, because it is more important what we do with our life. Greetings ;)
Magnus Ver Magnusson,Pudia ,Sven Karlssen and Ahola are the most brilliant because the bodyweight In the lift car (video) zydrunas had 185kg of bodyweight pudia 135 kg
The quest is to be the world's strongest man, not the world's strongest man in a weightclass. For "relative to bodyweight", weightclasses and wilks I suggest powerlifting.
a few ages ago Lithuania was the biggest and the strongest power in europe, why the only man as from that country shoudln't be the strongest man in history ? i agree (y)
Made Pudzianowski quit the sport because he knew he could never beat Z, if there were no split he'd have 7 WSM Titles, Greatest Strength Athlete easily
@@laurenceanyomi-smith443 first two who come to mind are thor and eddie savickas has done 340x5 (not quite to depth), eddie has done 345x7 (never peaked for 1rm in squat, so that's why rep maxes for comparison) savickas 433kg 1rm, hafthor 440 kg he's ridiculously good, just not the best. sources (in order): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-4h_sYSyjXC0.html ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-aqcrSzUyFTs.html en.wikipedia.org/wiki/%C5%BDydr%C5%ABnas_Savickas#cite_note-records-19 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Haf%C3%BE%C3%B3r_J%C3%BAl%C3%ADus_Bj%C3%B6rnsson feel free to argue, but I feel like this is a pretty strong case.
Eddie stated that hé is the strongest in history when he trained with Stefi Cohen. And he therefore does not recognize any of Big Z's victories as official.
