Really enjoy your reviews Ms. India. Especially ZZ Top. Can tell it's coming from the heart. They are the longest running US band with the same members in history. Over 50 years now and they still tour. I got into them back in 1973 (Yep, old guy here). I love what Billy Gibbons said at the end of that song...Bring my Blue Jeans back to me because she was filling them. ZZ has covered the gambit over the years. Some great, some good, some not so good. Just like the Rolling Stones and many others. Agree with a previous poster, Waiting for the Bus/Jesus Just Left Chicago and anything off Tres Hombres. 3rd album 1973. Would recommend the studio version as the have done it live 1000's of times. Yeah,its not really about the jeans at all, its about getting his girl back. The jeans are a metaphor for that sentiment. He makes you believe its about his favorite old comfy jeans but the final line spills the beans. Classic old BB king style blues.
