I stopped a lot of things cause I'm just so busy. Going to and from work is 12 hours a day, plus errands, keeping up the house, etc, I don't even have time to eat dinner until I'm on my way to bed. I don't have time for any hobbies that require hands
It's so cool to see you challenge yourself with this medium, I find pastels soooo difficult :D The tip to build a base colour first is very galaxy brain, I literally never could figure out why the scraping didn't work for me. The pomegranate seeds look so chunky it's very pleasing to look at. I love the hatching details at the end, they do absolutely bring it together! Will have to try it again! :D
I have that fountain pen for a year now. Its amazing ❤ i both draw and writen with it. The nib is amazing but the plastic broke so both of mine are ducktaped around😅
i loved drawing up until i hit a wall in my mid20's, i realised i was just drawing the same things over and over again, couldn't break out my drawing comfort zone and then lost the passion for it. it's only now i've turned 30 and a few months after the birth of my son that i'm getting the itch to draw again. i have less time to do it than ever yet i've managed to put a couple of bits in a sketchbook and it feels good. like ive reclaimed something x
Oh my, that's a lot of work you did there, and it's looks so nice and yummy, I'd buy some for sure, especially the small cauldron sound super cute! 😻 Did you thought of maybe selling some templates for the jars so people can maybe print it at home and put it on jars? just a thought tho ~ Also another question, more technical, what brush did you used in procreate? I never used illustrator so I cannot tell 🥲 but I know for a fact that for design in particular there are better tools than procreate. It’s a wonderful software to draw and make art but if you need a more technical approach you definitely can find a better solution 🥲 btw thank you so much ♥️
This is unrelated to the video, but will you ever do a collaboration with big art youtubers like Jazza or Ten Hundred? Or maybe smaller one's like Eiririnn?

@vespertiliu I think it's cool when other creators collab with others. I think it's a great way for creators to promote other people's content, especially when they're first starting off.

One day i did the mistake to draw a women i' the junji ito art style in black and white that's was so pretty i liked it so i show it to my parents but the rip it and said it's was creepy and bring negativity in the house and i should draw think in color and pretty 😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑😑

I used to love oil pastels in high school but at some point they just stopped computing with my brain I guess? I'm more inclined to use soft pastels. But I wanna give oil pastels another try. :)

i love the final piece! for details you can use a brush with a bit of linseed oil on it and brush some of the pastel onto it and then work it into the painting

Don't wait for a publisher. Start by yourself. Publish your comic online, self-publish it, make yourself known, put yourself out there! In the meantime, of course, you can start pitching your work to publishers but do not wait for them to send you a deal before starting to BE a comic artist. START NOW.
I believe you can see how I do them in several of my art processes, but I might make a proper tutorial on how to draw bats, bat wings and how to draw my character if you are interested :3 🦇
