I like to imagine sometimes the jungle getting tired of the crimson spreading inside it so it just sends overgrown plant monstrosities to crush the crimson flesh
Going in the jungle for a 5 minute journey for an anklet of the wild,6 hours later you come out with full hp and the entire underground jungle explored
I have sp many memories of playing terraria on my little tablet. 'Bout 6 years ago my older brother asked me and my other brother if we wanted to play terraria, I got it with no clue what it was. I would play it constantly with or without my brothers, discovering the large world of terraria. Sometime later we went to a cottage about 3 hrs away for a week. All the memories I have of that trip are mostly of discovering chlorophite for the first time, figuring out that it grows and getting so much of it I didnt know what to do with it. I simply loved the game. Many years later I find this song again and get so much nostalgia I didnt know existed.
The Blood Moon, which glares a wicked crimson. Beasts bathe in the bloodbath light, vile viscera piles crawl, bloated amalgams float; sewn of the same sanguine sinew and flesh found in the sickened seas when the moon turns red. Best to stay inside and wait the red night out.
the little drum fill at 1:36 distinctly reminds me of the jungle theme. which is fun, because the crimson just LOVES to brutally massacre my jungle. but honestly its so cool how this song is so contorted, ripping out bits and pieces of familiar songs and sewing them together again with its own flesh, bone, and sinew, forever scarred and assimilated into the flesh hive. A bleeding blight, a laceration gouging the world wide open and ruthlessly rending it asunder.
