Thank you! I think, unlesss I am mistaken, that I remember reading that he was disappointed at what the critics said about the first but the second was reviewed favorably and he felt vindicated.
London Treasury is a cheap budget label from London/Decca for reissues of previous recordings. The pressings were usually pretty bad. However, if you happen across an earlier London Stereo Treasury issue, it’s probably pretty good.
Francesca da rimini is indeed, the name of the work. It’s a symphonic tone poem/fantasy overture depicting the forbidden love of Francesca and her lover in Dante’s Inferno.😊
So i was wondering, as I am looking for budget towers for possible wfh options, with the initial specs of this model, would it support a dual monitors setup? Or will i need to add an extra video card into the tower? And if so, which card would you suggest to do that?
The top of the line ZBook 17 G4 Xeon m1535 v6 used to cost $7000 back in the day with the high-end configuration. I picked up a mint one for $325! Yeah, the ultimate in quad core mobile workstation computing power! 😊
Raphael Drurian you have not heard of? Really? The Beecham Scheherazade is very famous. Maureen Forrester was considered the greatest Mahler singers ever. Benny Goodman playing classical music is a joke.
Drurian was Dorati’s Concertmaster in Minneapolis, and also later for Reiner in Chicago. Well known player. Goodman’s classical stuff is variable at best. It depends on one’s taste. (Hint…it’s not to mine.). I’ve known some who like hi Mozart, but none of them are professional clarinetists. However, the Nielsen Concerto laughable at best.
Very useful, thanks! I decided to exchange my HP Z600 for something newer for doing photo editing. Your video helped me decide. Just what I needed right now.
It was probably great, but I wish Workstation manufacturers would compete in the keyboard and touchpad department. Touchpads shpuld ibe centered and ignore the entire thumbs, and the keyboard here should have scissor keys with large keytravel, have its home keys centered, be rid of all the media icons (ensuring that you do NOT have to press Fn to trigger a function key, media keys are for media consumer noobs only), and the layout should follow TKL. They certainly had the room to make a proper keyboard. For not a review, just presentation this is fine, and I got a shot of the keyboard layout. I think I won't use the keyboard at all, and it's too bad everyone is still making mobile computing less mobile by putting a garbage keyboard.
Could you tell how to receive light to the footage(to floor or to wall) from emitting object? I turned on diffuse scale but the wall and the floor become fully bright
Pretty thorough review..I just bought this for 80$ at a pawn shop here in Hammond Indiana...they couldn't find the power adapter so they marked it down from 100 to 80 and I bought one from Amazon for 17$...I loved the action but very disappointed with the sound..compared with the Korg b series..however this was only do to its age and the speakers ...so I bought presonus Blue tooth amplified speaker set for 165...and now I have the perfect sounding DP...I love it!!!
Interesting and kind of agree. The action is excellent and the piano sound, which is pretty decent, could be better. But for $80 bucks for a weighted digital piano, it’s a good deal. Did you get the Presonus Eris Speakers? How do you get the audio from the keyboard to the speakers? Anyway, I still have my keyboard and enjoy playing it. I use it mainly for writing songs. By the way, I am releasing a new single on October 27. It will be out everywhere: Spotify, Apple Music Amazon, RU-vid, etc. it’s called Somewhere Near A Beach. I hope you look for it and listen and check back with me then. Cheers.
The only thing you can do is give them away because they are pretty worthless. They were cheap entertainment and now they are just cheap. Maybe one or two if in mint condition will be worth something.
@@orientaldagger6920 you evidently don’t know what you are talking about as her husband could have been a collector of early decca or Deutsche Gramophone that can be worth a small fortune(given it is a good pressing and condition ). so to discount all classical records as worthless is just ignorance
It really depends on what you have and the condition. Most aren’t worth much. There are many who sell LPs on EBay, but that takes a lot of time and effort, for little return….and then you have to ship them. In cases, as in RCA, where many records were issued in both mono and stereo, the stereo is almost always preferred, leaving the mono issues worthless. If you’re looking to get rid of them, you might donate them to GoodWill or some other thrift store charity. Lots of collectors go there looking for bargains. If, on the other hand, they are 78 RPMs, then that’s even more difficult. Shipping is expensive, as the packaging must be sufficient to keep the records from shattering during transit. Best to simply donate any 78s on your shelf.
