Oh wow! We are experiencing this exact temperature in Riverside Ca right now which is why i went searching for this kind of video. This was so helpful!! I thought the trailer we rented wasn't working properly. Praying it cools down overnight for tomorrow... it's going to be a scorcher and we have no shade trees by our capsite😢😮
My 2022 Ram 2500 was in the shop almost every 6 to 8 months always something emission, damn mass air intake light came on every couple weeks. Traded on a 7.3L and completely happy. Unless you’re able to delete them, the newer diesels are worthless.
I’m glad someone finally went back to a lower gear ratio! No truck needs a 10 speed And 355 gears! What truck pulling anything heavy wants to be doing 180mph pulling a horse trailer or skid steer! trucks need these gear ratios if not than go back to a 4 speed
That Sport Mode is not a performance sport mode, all it does is relax the traction control into a more sporty setting. It does nothing to the engine performance.
I had the old wires in my 2021 motorhome and started having problems travelling thru eastern Oregon. The local Ford dealer would only replace the one misfiring wire with the new wire under warranty but I replaced the other seven with the new wires. A few hundred miles later the check engine light is on and I'm having the same problem with the new wires. WTF? Why doesn't Ford have a solution for this problem.Godzilla godshmilla!
ahh hell that motor ain't even broke in yet...7300m... the motor gets better after 10k. I've got the 22 7.3 Crewcab standard bed 2WD with the 4:30's and i get about 14 on the highway.. 4:30's are nice but really only good for towing.. Not that good around town and not that good on the highway.. but damn good when towing..
My choice would be 3:73 but due to the feds and mandated fuel consumption 3:55’s work. It just on start and stops in traffic hesitates a bit. On highway in high country terrain no problem and gas economy is the same
When climbing a hill not using cruise control switch to manual and downshift on the steering column and that will pick up your speed without it bogging or lowering itself down in gear
When using cruise control going uphill or passing other vehicles store vehicles you would want to Reset your cruise control rather than resume your cruise control if it’s below the 15 mile an hour limit you have
If you use cruise control going downhill you’re using brakes without knowing it even though your foot off the break you need to learn how to use the manual shifting on the steering column to keep it in lower gear and stay off the automatic cruise control well I’m going downhill
I used all the same vendor from Amazon Voodoona they all matched & fit perfect But I had to change out the original tape with 3M tape works much better
Thank you this was super helpful. I’m currently in the market for a power wagon. I want to be able to tow, but also keep the flex that the power wagons have. This is a great example. Happy off-roading
Great info. our 2020 7.3 w sunroof has been flawless. No leaks and I go through the car wash twice a week to get the mud off. Pulls my bobcat into jobsites and 17k boat like my previous diesel and I will get another one in 2025 vs the diesel. I'm at sea level and the power is excellent so for us we have saved a lot of money on maintenance costs and fuel savings.
Just want to say thanks, this helped me move forward with an order a while back and the truck does fit. My antenna flaps every time of course, and those little black protrusions on the back edge of the cab are closest for me. Also, I back in my garage which is probably why since my driveway slopes up to the garage so there is a bit of a tilt… perhaps similar to the effect you get from that raised concrete pad in your garage. Appreciate the real-world tests and helpful videos you’ve made!
I bought a Genkins 4500 watt inverter, it was a few hundred dollars cheaper than the predator I can get roughly 10-11hrs on it running my travel trailer money well spent .
Whether your air conditioners are ducted or not running a fan to circulate The air will help greatly to cool down the surfaces on the inside of the RV, where there are hotspots and cool them down.
Very simply grind all four corners on the inside slot an eighth of an inch tuch up whith black paint done problem solved and you still have integrity of same strength 💪
