I have a b18lsv semi built turbo, can I follow this video to be able to start and run the car and then follow the steps in part 2 to dial everything in?
@@danielhumphrey5239 yes. Be light on ignition timing in boost if your not using a dyno to verify your results and know your making a positive or negative change

@@KuganTuning I don’t have my afr gauge ran to the ecu but the gauge was reading in the high 14s, and I have a 4bar VMS map sensor so I just put custom and didn’t change any of the settings or anything
@@danielhumphrey5239 does your map read 0psi at idle or 100kpa? It will be a little lower if your higher up in altitude. So check that first, take a log.

Hello friend, in the comments I notice that you are one of the few RU-vidrs who responds to their subscribers, therefore before asking you I will subscribe, hehe, friend I want to put exactly that engine in my car, it is a 2005 Honda Fit, where I live they are selling a K20a3 at $650, my car barely has 85 HP, I would go to 160 HP, why do they complain so much about that engine? Just because it has V-Tec on a single Cam? or does it have any other defect? I would also like to know if my manual transmission would engage that engine without problems.
You will have to use the matching transmission for the K20 engine. K20A3 is a terrible engine and is at its best an economy engine, I agree with everyone else that it is junk. If you are looking to just go K series and have something better than stock than sure its fine but if you are looking for performance K20A3 is not the way to go.
@@KuganTuning The truth is that I see it cheap, $650 and it has 80,000km, I was just thinking of putting a Fuel Tech or AEM ECU in it and that's it, I'm not really looking for a Drag. But is it even worth it to begin with? The L13a that my Honda Fit currently has is worse. Another thing, the K20a2 cylinder head doesn't fit the K20a3? Is the engine bad? Doesn't it come forged like the other K's?
@@KuganTuning what actually makes it a horrible engine? Ive had a vtec-e motor that is reliable and still fun for 200k miles. Is it just horrible for tuning?
Depending on which wideband you have you run the 0-5v wire to AN1 and then open Kpro and goto Parameters > Analog Inputs and click on Analog 1 and click on "Conversions" and select your wideband and make you name it wideband. Then click on the Closed Loop tab and select External Wideband and select the wideband you just created. Press upload and it should work. Depending on how you wired the wideband's ground you might have to adjust the voltage offset under "Analog Inputs" make sure you adjust in small increments like 0.01 or -0.01 and keep adjusting until the kpro matches what your wideband reads
i just got my ecu back after purchasing a kpro - it does not rev over 3k rpm its undrivable after installing it like it just doesnt go over 3k rpm at all while driving, i have intake, exhaust and headers, will this solve my problem?
Think I’ll try the basemap with my b20v on stock injectors until I get a full tune. I’ve tried asking others for help and no one is willing to help or teach which is understandable cause they had to learn as well.
I’m trying to finish my h23a swapped crv and I’m going to see if I can start it up because the ecu I got was from a turboed Honda civic so I’m trying to make a new map so I can at least get the car running 😅

People so caught up in horsepower, some people just wanna have fun and modify their car, drive it for the experience! I feel bad for y’all with massive egos shitting on people that are content and having fun with what they have. My ep3 has the k20a3 in it but this was my first car ever, had it since 2015. I don’t give a damn who beats me in a race at the end of the day I love beating the piss out of it and the experience it gives me. I can’t think of a more perfect daily for me. It’s paid off, costs pennys to insure and fill up. Fits all my camping gear even a mountain bike on the hitch I installed… keep hating y’all let people do their thing. It’s not a Corolla with a fake hood scoop like cmon we all car people here have some respect and have fun!
@@MrVuittonDon it releases exhaust gases to control turbo speed from over spinning which regulates boost pressure….. engine sees boost, the wastegate starts opening and let’s out the exhaust gas to maintain let’s say 10psi. It’s just an open exhaust when the engine is in boost
No I don't think your auto RSX will put out similar numbers. The Type S cam does not fit without modifying the rocker arms in the head, there are a few write ups online about how to do this. I don't recommend doing this setup, easier to go K20A2,K20Z3,K24A2
