People so caught up in horsepower, some people just wanna have fun and modify their car, drive it for the experience! I feel bad for y’all with massive egos shitting on people that are content and having fun with what they have. My ep3 has the k20a3 in it but this was my first car ever, had it since 2015. I don’t give a damn who beats me in a race at the end of the day I love beating the piss out of it and the experience it gives me. I can’t think of a more perfect daily for me. It’s paid off, costs pennys to insure and fill up. Fits all my camping gear even a mountain bike on the hitch I installed… keep hating y’all let people do their thing. It’s not a Corolla with a fake hood scoop like cmon we all car people here have some respect and have fun!

Sounds mean and pulls good, those are decent numbers I'm putting down right about 170-175 whp and I only have custom 3.5" intake, DC sports header, and custom 3 inch down pipe into stock cat with 3" mid pipe going into 2.25" rest of the way into a 2008 civic si axle back. Oh also did ac delete with shorter belt it definitely picked up some power from less parasitic drag from accessories. It keeps up with a buddy's 2012 civic si with bolt ons. Don't listen to anyone hating on it. They don't realize that yes it's a base motor so it's harder to just jump to bigger numbers. I bet with E85 and a different intake manifold and bigger exhaust you'd easily make 200+ who and that in a sub 2700 pound car is pretty damn good in my books.

Hello friend, in the comments I notice that you are one of the few RU-vidrs who responds to their subscribers, therefore before asking you I will subscribe, hehe, friend I want to put exactly that engine in my car, it is a 2005 Honda Fit, where I live they are selling a K20a3 at $650, my car barely has 85 HP, I would go to 160 HP, why do they complain so much about that engine? Just because it has V-Tec on a single Cam? or does it have any other defect? I would also like to know if my manual transmission would engage that engine without problems.

Did the k20a3 old style/early exhaust rockers fit fine on k20a2 cams?

Yo so I have a problem I did the Prb manifold swap on my 05 Rsx with the 70mm tb and I also have a new type s tps . Everything wire correctly and I’m on ktuner and I try using the type s map and it won’t let me go past 5.5k and when I use the base model map to tune it it goes past 5.5k but burning gas’s and also idling super low like 600rpm and also feels so slow

Decent numbers for an a3 compared to stock! Hows the idle? Probably pick up a little more power with a different intake manifold? No?
