@@KuganTuning so I all I need is a chipped ecu with s300 to tune and of course a jumper since in 99" integra . Only crappy bolt ons i/e/h ..I was K swapped before so only needed kpro n a tuner . I just want to know what I fully need for my gsr
@@cineroadmedia6577 its 345 for obd 1 and 290 for obd2. The obd1 use a resistor box and are low impedance. 245cc is for the non-Vtec F22a/b and H23a1 non-Vtec. AFAIK.
I have a b18lsv semi built turbo, can I follow this video to be able to start and run the car and then follow the steps in part 2 to dial everything in?
@@danielhumphrey5239 yes. Be light on ignition timing in boost if your not using a dyno to verify your results and know your making a positive or negative change
@@danielhumphrey5239 what’s the wideband read before it dies? I don’t have enough information on your setup. Did you put the right data for map sensor?
@@KuganTuning I don’t have my afr gauge ran to the ecu but the gauge was reading in the high 14s, and I have a 4bar VMS map sensor so I just put custom and didn’t change any of the settings or anything
@@danielhumphrey5239 does your map read 0psi at idle or 100kpa? It will be a little lower if your higher up in altitude. So check that first, take a log.

I have a b20vtec B20b gsr refreshed head skunk 2 mani header exhaust would this basemap still be good for it? Starting off as a p30 and smoothing it out and everything we’re do I go from there all motor wise with leaning it out and making it rich?
Tune it for sure- make sure your wideband is hooked up and communicating with your s300 module then start data logging and make your adjustments from there..
The tuning process is the same all motor or turbo. Every engine has different requirements. You job as the tuner is to find out where your engine is happy.
I have a plx wideband do I splice it to d14 on o2 sensor plug? A Or can I just keep it on open loop and install the wideband alone and watch the gauge?
You can do both. I would run the wideband 0-5v wire to d14 so that the AFR can be logged in Smanager. Only when your done tuning the car in open loop loop, turn on closed loop and tune the closed loop settings
@@KuganTuning yes I currently have it in open loop and run it directly but that's just to keep watch on my afr. I want to log it so I can do some street tuning and fuel table adjustment etc. So once I dial it in and I set to closed loop will the afr change alot or are u saying once on closed loop continue to dial it in by doing datalog and readjust? Thanks!
Once you turn on closed loop you have to dial in the closed loop settings on the closed loop tab. The fuel map doesn’t need to be changed once open loop is good.

Hondata S300 is what is shown here. I highly recommend having a tuner do what the tuner is good at. Hp Academy or Evans Tuning offers really good courses if you are interested in learning how to tune.
I personally think this is a lackluster video. You could’ve done way better job explaining why I’m changing certain parts of the map so there’s a understanding of the tuning
