Welcome to the Scottish Fairy Channel - I am glad you found me! I aim to create ambient nature based, romantic videos and talk about life in general and particular. I live in the far north of Europe, Scotland, which is the most beautiful, mystical and scenic country.
I shy away from many situations that is prized in the extrovert society. The way I choose to live my life is every bit valid as the extrovert who lives a much more outer directed life. I have a richer interior life....with a small number of close friends...... and very content knowing others share my way of life. If being mindful,...attentive....and appreciative of simple things is a boring life...SIGN ME UP !!!! I prefer it. It is soothing and comforting..and inspires so much creativity. Nature...Mozart....journaling ..morning sunshine.....it is all good !!!! I live in a world where empaths live and I wouldn't have it any other way.
Dear Scottish Fairy, I am watching this video for a second time, with tears in my eyes, not wanting for it to ever end... To think there is such a place, and such kind-hearted people is making me shed tears of happiness. I feel so happy for you, and for everyone who has a heart of gold, and who is eager to share the sea of their love with their world, whether it is big or small. HI Emily and thank you for your comment. My clothes are a very wide spread mixture of old things I had for a wee while, second hand and new ones. I used to buy Laura Ashley a lot but the fashion side of it is now closed / very limited. I also shop from NoaNoa sometimes (a Dutch company), find things on Etsy or Ebay or in our local charity shops. I hope this helps. Have a lovely day 🧚
I do not eat cake, as I love savory things more, but your cake looked so good that I would have loved a slice of it! Such a lovely calming video. I would also love to be able to walk to the sea, as you can, but we have a river by us, and I walk over the little bridge that goes over it every morning with my Madge, and always stop going over, to look down on it, and coming back over, and to listen to it, as it calms me inside. xxx

I resonate with everything that you have said....I think I too have realised these sentiments later in my life...even though I had always yearned for a slower pace when I was younger! Time waits for no-one...that saying used to always be on my mind, and I used to always feel that with all the many different crafts and hobbies that I love to do, and many more new ones that I wanted to try....I always felt that I would never have enough time to indulge in each of them with the time that would allow me to experiment and then perfect the craft. As a single mum also, and when my son was born my mother was very sick with cancer so I nursed her back to health......precious moments with both my baby and my parents.....but there was a chunk of my life that literally flew by and now, at the age of 60, I have only just managed to slow down and start thinking of creating the future that I have always wanted. I feel totally blessed and have so much gratitude that I am now able to plan for this. There is so much inspiration created by the beauty in this world.....I have always been aware of it, but had no time to indulge in it.....but thanks to finding your wonderful channel and feasting on all of the inspiration that each video brings....I realised that what we and all the followers here share....is a mindset. I believe we all realise that we want to make the time for these simple pleasures and fully enjoy these present/now moments. I think there are many more people out there, that once they see your videos, will immediately identify that they too are very similar if nowt the same and share this mindset. Here's to all of you who want to seize the day! May we all join forces in our hearts and our minds to live more purposefully and most importantly, in that child-like joy that we lost along the way!

We have lots in common, from life situation (single mom) and being creative minds that long for calm and enough time to pursue all the creativity that lives in us. I am happy that you can now indulge in these things. Yes, I am sure there are lots of people out there who crave for difference but it isn't always easy (or doable) to live those dreams. I am blessed in what I have now - but I also worked hard to be where I am. There is a time for everything and maybe when we get older we see the world differently? Hello, I was curious if that is the North Sea or a part of it? Just like you, I love Scotland, although I have never been there! I have Facebook friends from all over Scotland. You will laugh at this, but I met them in a fan group of a band from Edinburgh, The Bay City Rollers. Lol!!! They were popular in the mid 70's and up. I'm 62 years old now, and 3 band members have passed. Nice to revisit music and memories from an easy time! I hope you are well and have a great week! Hugs!
My best friend from school was a huge BCR fan, she loved Eric most of all and had their posters all over her wall! He had the most amazing eyes if I remember! I am hoping to move to Scotland or at least the north of England. I am transitioning into the life that I have always dreamed of.....few neighbours and lots of nature! The wildflowers are so beautiful in your part of the world. The ocean is wonderful. I love how it ebbs and flows. I've recently moved home to an even more rural and alpine region. I love it here. I have cows grazing next door and beautiful clean crisp air. Your videos are a respite from unpacking which is a little bit overwhelming at times. Thankyou and have a wonderful week 💐

Congratulations on 10000 followers🥳 That table runner turned out fantastic. I've never seen that craft with potatoes before. The end result reminds me of Laura Ashley designs. I too am quite a loner. I'm also a HS. I find being around too much noise or people exhausting. I'm far happier and healthier living quietly and gently on the earth. I feel more peaceful alone with my pets. We need time and energy to do all the daily living needs and so i don’t plan too many other things outside of my daily living and self care. That way I’m not overwhelmed, over stimulated and exhausted. Yummy and pretty looking cake!

And you are doing this on top of all the other everyday chores and tasks of daily living. It’s clear to see how much effort you put in as your filming is very good quality and the narration and music is well done and very clear. You edit your videos so that they are visually appealing with good transitions between each segment. So for us they are very easy and welcoming to watch. Another wonderful video this week as well as many others you do. I found your channel when I was looking for slow living type content. I’ve enjoyed watching you ever since. It’s made me really want to visit Scotland one day and really see and enjoy the lovely places it has there. I’m afraid if I ever step foot in Scotland I wouldn’t want to leave.
