Unlikely. I would say my personal vac was actually at a pretty significant disadvantage since it has likely had performance degradation from the last year of usage.
You are so smart just like using your control to control the contactor. get the 240 switch contactor so you can control it from your phone or computer. That is so good. BUT the shelly is unreliable for some reason and a 240 switch on the contactor is foolish. If you get the 120 2 pole and connect a common timer for say lights in your home, you have accomplished the same thing and the goddamn shelly doesn't fuck you into a pissed off a hole.
Great video, as always. Have you tested the BenQ TH685? It seems like a good deal for 120Hz and 8 ms response time, but I'm not sure about the contrast ratio and color accuracy.
well thats the thing about "a mirror reducing the brightness", what makes it more dim is the increased distance, not anything to do with the mirror itself, if you had a full length projection vs one with a mirror lined up to be the same size, the difference in brightness would basically not exist, they just get dimmer the further away they have to project, thats how lights work
the thing is, i have looked into this in the past but decided the charging standards change so fast it's not worth it imo (If I'd have put in something 2-5 yrs ago when I was looking, it would be very outdated today for sure). and heck at least with my one plus phones, the circuitry is in the dongle (and it can charge faster than even Samsung, 0-100 in <30 minutes). Even 65watt standard chargers arent gonna do anything. Plus, where I most want a charging outlet is in my kitchen, and the outlet is thus GFCI. Which I dont think any of these outlets are. Is there a way around this? (Edit, after searching Amazon it appears all GFCI charging outlets are low watts, including leviton. Although the Leviton GFCI USB A/C charging outlet only mentions 4.8 amps. I am wondering if that is spread across both the USB A and C ports and it doesnt say what voltages it supports .Nor does it advertise any gaudy watts figures like 60w etc. As such once again I am rebuffed...)
Have you had the chance to compare the SEATO Seal with the Shark? Is it worth paying double the price for the ultra-fine filter and the extra motor, or is the Seal version sufficient? Thanks
I've been really happy with my Seal, but the big issue is that neither are available anymore. Seauto seems to only be selling the "Crab" model now which is a slightly downgraded Seal.
So in every way, reolink outshines unifi. (more features, more resolution, more versatility in nvr etc) and are around 1/4th the cost total. come on unifi.
Could you test Dreame X40? It seems like its finally a big jump from l10s. They fixed the filter issue X30 had that failed your carpet test last time .
google, youtube, its as if you want to piss me off or something. why show me this video about colour night vision cameras that do not include the camera i typed into search bar? and somehow the one i did type is the brand that performed the worse? and not the camera im looking for? artificial manipulitation of the content im looking for will get corrected and all employees exposed
@@TheHookUp The Argus Pro that has a small solar panel atached to it. and thank you for the reply even though its what it is. Your video here is very informative and useful. My complaining is about the internet as a whole and how it knows what im looking for, but for some reason shows me things that loosely relate to what im looking into. Again, the complaining im doing is not about your informative video or anything on your end
This is so cool! I'm looking to make an art piece using this technique where the blinds to continuously rotate back and forth. You mention the DRV8825 needs to cool off and can overheat, would you be able to reccomend an alternative stepper motor driver? Thanks :)
Hi I have purchased Zebornics Pixaplay 28 & My doubt is that company mention 30,000hrs lamp life that is real or fake . Most of Budget projectors mention high lamp life than expensive projector has less lamp life . Why?
I like it, but I like to be able to see my book titles (I want to mount something similar on my library) so I think I'll use something similar to your 3rd approch but I'll put the light strips on the front-bottom of each shelf. Thank you!
Have you had a chance to review or try out the Aiper S1 Pro or Beatbot? I have a larger pool and I'm looking for good coverage as well as effectiveness with leaves and debris (silt/algae, etc...)
Fantastic concise information. Thank you. I wished I had seen this before I purchased my current projector. Do you have an opinion on the Goiaey 680 ANSI FHD 1080P Portable Outdoor Projector?
Huge congrats! Best and pro comparison in the whole Internet! Missing more models like roombas, xiaomi (X10/x10+, S10, s10+, s10t this has a new function tô cut hairs and not jam the rollers.... models, and others of more popular options )... But anyway, again, the best test and comparison I have ever seen so far about cleaning robots! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Hi, how does something like the X500i stack up against the Hisense C1? I guess similar brightness, better colour due to triple laser but better contrast on the BenQ ? Just wondered which you'd choose for picture quality. Thanks
The X500i is MUCH more color accurate if that's something you're interested in. The C1 is much more vibrant and punchy, but not necessarily true to the source video. I did do a side by side here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-qQ5j7R9nQdc.html The C1 is a little more red shifted in this video than in real life due to the tri-laser. I usually do an eye-match (perceptual match) using my calibrated monitor during testing, but didn't do that for this clip.
@@TheHookUp thank you, much appreciated hard to tell due to the red shift and RU-vid compression but presumably the black level on the X500i is a lot better than the C1 in person ?
Do you have plans to do a version of this comparing smart versions of these outlets? I'm currently using a Geeni Current + Charge connected to a Home Assistant dashboard tablet that controls the USB ports based on the tablets state of charge, to extend the useful life of the battery. It connects via the LocalTuya integration over wifi. Availability and price basically self-selected this one for me (Canada), but I'm curious what else is out there.
Hi, I have the LX700-4K at home and my Problem is that I can not disable the HDR mode/profile in the projector settings. All modes besides HDR are greyed out, even if I disable HDR at the output device. Is that normal?
You'll need to disable HDR on your computer. There are a few things to try: 1. If you're using an RTX card you'll need to go to NVIDIA Control Panel > Adjust video image settings > RTX Video Enhancement - then disable HDR. 2. If that doesn't work try enabling HDR in NVIDIA control panel, hit apply, then go back to windows display settings and disable HDR there. 3. Last thing to try if those don't work, under "resolution" in the nvidia control panel try using custom color settings with "limited" for "output dynamic range":
Man I'm so curious about your take on the ''new'' jmgo n1S and the new dangbei dob2. I wonder if they solved the intense laser specle on the jmgo. But being brighter, hmmmm I don' t know...
I bought Epson 5050 UB after watching your video , but it performed very bad at first , because my room was really white, and 5050 was very bright. So room was light up , and washed every colours into oblivion. Make room darker or Buying alr screen for regular projectors wasn’t an option at the time, so i just make Gray screen using spandex. And 5050 exceeded all my expectations. However my room is still very bright when it working, so i feel like it don’t leave up to its full potential. So , i basically have two questions : 1. Would Alr screen for regular projector really make the difference considering i already have non-white screen? Maybe the question is stupid , but almost all information on Alr screens i could found is for USD , it almost like no one use Alr for regular through distance 😅 2. Nexigo performance is great , but i really fear Rainbow effect. So i would like to know, how Epson LS800 compare to 5050 UB ? And how how Epson LS800 with USD ALR screen compare to 5050 UB ? P.s your content is amazing 🤝
ALR screens for standard throw projectors don't work very well and introduce a lot of unpleasant side effects like sparkling and hotspots. LS800 is very bright, but doesn't have the low black floor of the 5050UB.
How come that the Formovie Theater (like the AWOL LTV-3500 this year also in the test) dropped from a solid second place after the AWOL LTV-3500 in 22 to the very bottom-bottom in the 23 test where the AWOL LTV-3500 stays at the top. Did you test a broken Formovie Theater?
A few reasons: 1. Every other projector just got much better: The FMT was the first affordable tri-laser projector on the market, but now there are a ton of tri-lasers. 2. Other projectors like the LTV 3500 got important (free) over the air updates that added things like dolby vision support, better out of the box color accuracy, and low latency gaming. 3. Last year I didn't award any points for 3d viewing, or award separate points for daylight viewing. The FMT still finished 3rd in dark room viewing performance in this video.
@@BB-doc-fan The issue with the FMT and software updates is that because it has Android 11 built in any and all firmware updates need to be approved by google before pushing OTA, which is a long drawn out process, so while a projector like the AWOL or Nexigo can get 5-10 updates a year the FMT is lucky to get 1. That said, I think the FMT is supposed to get an update in July.
I like the way you did the sponsored part. A brief mention at the start and the rest of it later. Hate when the sponsored part is right after a 30 second intro while recognizing the need for them.
