I would love a mod for the original half-life which replaces its xen levels with something like this. Would really provide a satisfying climax to the game, while keeping in line with what half-life alyx and infinite finality are making xen look like.
I like it shows the still human Civilian Protection units being nervous. One is uncontrollably moving it's foot restlessly, the other tapping it's gun and the driver, it's too busy driving. But the actual transhuman Combine soldier, it's lost it's fear or nervousness anyway, for better or for worse.
1:40 it makes so much sense now, why they use a normal female voice in the broadcasts. Ain't no one going to be understanding what the Combine soldiers say, even if they are speaking English (or insert country language) 😅
In fact, the two blue points are not eyes, but cannons (the eyes are very small and are in the sides of their body, just below the cannons), but amazing short anyway!
Be interesting to see an engagement between a COMPETENT insurgency and a combine group. The insurgents had plenty of opportunity to set up booby traps and ambush points but failed to do so and should have set up surveillance on the perimeter. The combine force should been reduced to half its strength before it even got close; planning matters.

Damn this was great - I'm very much a fan of showing just how dangerous the Combine actually was to the ordinary rebel. Gordon Freeman tearing his way through City 17 would've looked messianic.

I love the new model you made here. The big aramid blanket over the arms with all the bulky armor plates looks so good. Really feels like nothing short of an AP slug is hurting this guy from the front. I actually like this one more than the original Wallhammer, it just screams Combine and looks so much more sleek.
