We bought 44 acres back in my hometown and we will be making videos all about the things we learn when it comes to owning land. Tractors, chainsaws, firewood, log splitters, UTV's and more. If this interests you please click subscribe and click the bell icon to get notified when we post. Thanks!
To make the comparison fairer: 1. Compare weights. Space isn't what is burning, mass is. Weight per dollar is the important metric, not cubic feet per dollar. NOTE: wet firewood will give a false high reading; compressed fire blocks are very dry. 2. Make a grid of marks on top of the woodsstove with welder's soapstone, and measure all the marks. Take the average of all the temps recorded.
Howdy Adam! The shed looks amazing. I wish I had half of your gumption, get up and go,desire, drive or whatever it's called. Being 56 and physically disabled is the last thing that I ever thought would be my reality. I have the desire just not the tools to get it done anymore. Thanks for sharing your channel it gives me some entertainment on those days that I can't do much of anything. I'm probably going to make a wood run next week. I'm thinking about getting a full tote this time. I got $60 worth last time and we have that almost burnt up already. Two more fires will knock that out. Take care, have fun and God Bless you all!!!❤😊
BEAUTIFUL. I can’t wait to retire next year in buy some land. I live in Los Angeles near the beach of course my 932 ft.² condo is lovely, but it’s time to rent that out and live somewhere else six months out of the year. I want a homestead and I want a pond now. Just need to figure out where? I’m gonna have to find out if I can get land somewhere in Cali and if so, will they allow me to put a pond in. Also, the Eastern and southern states are beautiful because I love the woods, but I’ve never lived anywhere else but California.😂
All that wood and you didn't think to lift the log with blocking? There's a video of a guy on the internet who lifts ten-ton concrete blocks by himself.
Hi Adam, What is the name brand of this 3rd function? It looks to be factory as it has the same joystick as stock with the 2 buttons. Is it an LS 3rd function? Dan
Adam, you need to wear a mask when you stain! Even if it’s outside! Take care of your lungs! And you should be wearing goggles! Otherwise, nice job on finishing your building! 😊
Shelter looks great. It’s awesome to see you actually doing hand work. So many other channels don’t do any manual labor on camera and only play with their expensive equipment.
I know you have your sponsorship and all. But just run power to your shed. It's not that hard or expensive if you do it yourself. You'll be glad you did. The batteries sound like a good idea, but in reality they never hold up in the long term. And they don't do well in the winter. And they only get weaker as time goes on. You'll end up running power out there in a year or so anyway.
KUNTZ ENGINEERING MAKES THE BEST PULL BEHIND MOWERS IN PRO GRADE ACRE EASE MOWERS. EVEN THE FINISH CUT PRO GRADE MODELS CAN DO BETTER THAN BOTH OF THOSE THINGS YOU ARE USING. CHECK THEM OUT SERIOUSLY. I HAVE BEEN USING ACRE EASE MOWERS SINCE 2006 WITH 500 CC ATV AND CAN TURN VERY WELL AND GO AT A GOOD SPEED . THE ROUGH CUT MOWERS FROM ACRE EASE EVEN HAVE ELECTRIC DECKS TO RAISE AND LOWER BLADE DECK
Adam i just wanted to commend you in your camera work and editing. The footage while spreading the stone was fantastic, excellent angle shots and very professional. Ive been watching you from the start and you have just been getting better and better.
Finishing projects is always a bittersweet moment for myself. I enjoyed the journey, but at the same time when it's done it's always a relief. Good thing my project will keep me busy for a few years I hope 😂
One of the best free things that someone can do to support a RU-vidr in the RU-vid algorithm click-through rate (CTR) is by clicking and playing the video, all the way through, the very first time you see any of their video thumbnails. Don't save it for later, play it through right away, and if you don't have time to actually watch it right then and there, save it to the watch it later playlist, and then go back and watch it again.
Hello Adam. When you were cutting the sheets of OSB, you were concerned that you might cut the supports. If you had laid four 2X pieces of lumber across the supports, you could have ripped the sheeting without concerns.
Nice job Adam, a check mark on the Adam to do list. Are you going to spray stain the new shelf, thought it might stand out with everything else being stained. Have a wonderful week. 😀👍👍👍
i was totally gonna joke about the peanut gallery is getting restless for a pond update( im one of them, lol ) Do you think that now you have all that clay trying a sealing polymer again might work?
A fix is in the works but I don’t want to spoil his update. Thanks for asking. It will be a huge relief to have it full and working properly via the overflow.
Congratulations! You are the first on RU-vid to demonstrate how to properly pour liquid from a large container. Most people would have the spout on the bottom. Glug, glug and glug. Not so when it's on top. Bravo! The time stamp is 3:07 As for the pond update, I saw the pond from the drone shot. I'm updated. Still filling.
@@haroldphipps3457 Meant to say it's the first time I've seen it on YT. I'm sure there are plenty who know how to do it properly. I've seen Let's Dig 18 but all they do when I watch is dig.
@@jamesford8315 he is hilarious to watch when he dismantles a mobile home! The commentary is funny. Also fun to watch him burn brush piles with a Karen close by calling the fire department on him!
