Greatest live band ever and they are using a recorded backing track,, that's how shit TV was back then. Keith isn't even trying to match his track, it's hilarious. The vocals are live, as Pete proves by forgetting the lyrics.
Robin just canceled his show in new Hampshire due to health issues..he seems pretty adamant about recovering and honoring the venue at a later date. God bless Mr trower.
When I was 8, Davy Graham lived a few doors up. He brought me and my friend in for green tea and sat us down while he played the range of stringed instruments he had hanging on his living room wall . I never realised who he was. He was just Dave up the road. A kind gentle guy. RIP fella.
And we all know how the title became, "Badge". But, if anyone out there doesn't... Clapton saw George Harrison who was writing the "Bridge" for the song. From looking at it upside-down, Clapton thought George had written, "Badge" as the song's title. Love that Rock 'n' Roll lore. It confirms that it ALL wasn't always pulling things from some divine place. It was just stuff we all do everyday - save for the writing a classic song part.
Love Joan, but without Cherie Currie on vocals this Runaways line-up were just a shadaw of the Cherie Currie Runaways!!! Can't understand why they kept the name Runaways, total insult to the real Queens Of Noise!
