Just did the seatbelts in a 2014 Passat with these exact trims etc. unhooked the positive terminal, installed the new belts with sensors all plugged in. I now have an air bag light and a seat belt light. These were new belts to replace old ones chewed by the owners dog. How to I remove the light(s) / program the new seat belt sensors?
Thanks, M8! On my 2003 Golf GL, they undercoated the rear most bolt on the fender, so you could not see it. Chiseled it off to access the bolt head. There was a ratsnest of debris, sand, dirt & vegetation crammed in the same area leading into the door rocker panel area! I assume that's why they coat that bolt head. No rust though! (JHendy on YT had a Michigan salt damaged car that had rusted out fenders at this corner.) Don't misplace any of the plastic & metal anchor nuts that may remove with the plastic fenderliner. It was easier to put on the new fender. The Golf liner does not need about 20cm of the leading end which is needed on the Jetta. It is shown @ 2:10. Just trim off that end of the new one using the old one as a template with snips, heavy scissors, or a soldering gun blade. Easy enough one hour job at most not including painting. 😊
I just had my 04 225 valve cover gasket replaced as well as selonoid assembly and gasket cost me $3,200 they are the best mechanic but man that’s a rip off I’m pissed about it cause I spent 15k in repair in 4 years on this car i won’t be putting anymore $ into it time for a newer model golf r or tts
Greatings sir, your vidoe has been meaningful, i want to know if the battery terminal is taken off for sometime, will the tracking device still be working?
trying to talk myself into doing this on my 2002 New Beetle. I think it's almost turbo time also at 340,000 miles. It would probably be easier to do the turbo with the transmission out of the car. I just don't know if I have the physical stamina it takes to complete this job. I changed the oil in the car yesterday and I'm worn out today....
Thank you, there are such tight spaces to work in that I nearly threw the towel in. Your video helped hugely in terms of detail and motivational support!
I bought that ruville.. Noname waterpump failed after couple of hunderd kilometers. I had to do it again using Italian mfg waterpump, which has worked flawlessly
