I'll probably be looking into getting a Chase banking card as well for credit score building as that's what my fiancé banks with primarily.. Ikea is something I haven't even thought of, and I'm really curious to see what the differences between the European versions and the US Ones are! Thank you for the update!!

How long do you have to wait after the wedding to send these documents for the adjustment of status? - How early before the wedding did you start to fill out these forms? 2. How long did it take the beneficiary to obtain his work authorization? 3. After you get the visa approved at the interview, is there a limit of days from when i get my passport back until you have travel to the US on the visa? Like do i have to book my trip within 1 month for example?

I made the mistake of not putting the g1145 in the front of the packet Instead its in the packet because how you have the packet assembled. Didnt realize you said to put it in the front of the packet. But they did cash the check I sent so does that mean anything?
We went to our local SSA office and she was refused a Social Security number. "You have to already have work authorization in order to obtain a Social Security number" we were told.
So, let's say I have my fiance coming here in a few months on a k-1 visa which is approved. All flights to this location have to pass thru another us city to arrive here. How does that work? I thought after they arrive in the usa they couldn't take a domestic flight? The prospect of driving to chicago for hours in winter weather and dealing with traffic, tolls, and other nightmares seems horrible. Can she arrive at her final destination or once she lands in the us she is stuck in whatever city that is?
So when they arrive to the USA - the first airport will be their first point of entry where their documents are taken and their visa is processed. They can then catch a flight anywhere else. You can travel domestically by plane in the USA.. you just can't leave the country and then re-enter :)

@SurajandYasmin yes. I went thru it. Filed thru k1visa. Fiancée is now my wife, and she entered the US . We just got married a month ago. Now, I just don't know what forms to filed besides I-485. And I-765. It's pretty much similar to your case. But I'm a bit lost when they mention I-130?
It's only the forms mentioned in the video that you need :) Work & Travel authorization is optional but the I-485 adjustment of status + proof of financial support is mandatory. Hope that helps :)

When i photocopy ours It says "VOID" everywhere!
USCIS won’t accept photocopied certificate also Do not submit the original copy because they won’t return it to you, instead go to where you applied for your marriage license and request for certified copies of your marriage certificate it’s $9 depending on your state. 3 to 4 certified copies depending with your submission

Hi, My NOA1 is March 6th, 2024. The case was approved on October 11th. The status is Case was Approved. I do not see the status updated to sent to Department of State yet. It's been 14 days now. Can I still submit a public inquiry form today, or do I have to wait until the status changes to sent to Department of State? Please advice. Thanks.

It shouldn't do - as the requirement is to solely have met once within the last 2 years. They could potentially ask for more evidence so you'd just need to show you have an ongoing relationship
For some reason, on Form I-864 (Affidavit of Support), Page 4, I am unable to type anything except in Part 5.8 (Person 1) through Part 5.19 (Person 4). Additionally, Part 5.8 (Household Size) has been pre-filled with the number 1 in the box, and I cannot change it. What should I do about this?

Tysm for the video. The petitioner doesn't file this in the US right? The beneficiary takes this with them for their Visa Appt at their country's Embassy correct?
@@SurajandYasmin thank you, I have one more question. Is the petitioner supposed to mail the form to beneficiary (postal) or do you think sending online is fine and the beneficiary can print it out? Since you mentioned signing with ink, I just want to clear that up.
You can send it online... ie you, the petitioner should sign the form by hand, scan it in.. then send it to your beneficiary. They can then print it out :)
