I'm Ford certified diesel master tech. I've been working on these since they came out and I've been with Ford since 1982. I do this to help us all and because visual is always better then me trying to explain that thing there on the phone.

Dear God, I miss Ron. I hope you are taking good care of his soul. As long as I own my 6.4, I will continue to refresh my memory via these wonderful videos before doing these services. I know you have your wings. I hope some day in my eternal life I get to thank you. God Bless.
I just discovered his channel about 6 months ago while looking for help with some issues with my 2003 6.0 diesel. What I found on Ron's channel was truly helpful. Great videos and explanations of commonly found problems and the special tools that really are needed to do the job right. I just found out about his untimely demise a few days ago. So sad that there will be no more of his useful, professional advice in the videos. 😥 I told my wife that I need to download all his videos for future use just in case RU-vid doesn't keep them available. I hope ya'll will continue to keep his videos online. I'm so sorry for ya'll's lose of a good family man so willing to help others out. I can only wish that I had known him personally. I believe we all need to help others out if we've been given a talent or knowledge that we can share. I only hope to meet him and the rest of ya'll on the other side some day😊
I'm another guy who just happened across this site looking for help, but I can't help feeling terrible for the family over this loss. My only hope is they've been able to heal some since this was originally posted. Obviously he was way too young to have this make any sense and I can only imagine the heartbreak over receiving that notification. Rest In Peace Ron, it's clear you left a legacy behind.
I look forward to spinning wrenches with you in heaven. But! I doubt any cars break in heaven, but if there is a chance, I’d spin wrenches with you any day. You are an amazing person and mechanic. God bless you in heaven, and I pray your family is doing well. You have taught me so much. Thank you.
My issue is with the lower hose getting it in and out. And what type of lube would you use? It seems to go on the Water pump at a90% how do you get that out then back in?
I've watched Ron's videos for the past 5 or 6 years, ever since I've owned a 6.0 Powerstroke. While I can't give Ron 100% of the credit for everything I've learned, I can without a doubt say that his videos and words have made such a huge impact on my ownership of this truck from Day 1. I have an excellent 6.0 mechanic that I call on for lots of advanced things I cannot do myself in my own driveway. However, for the things I do perform in my driveway, Ron has (and still does) walk me thorough them. Sometimes I'll even catch myself talking to him while I'm wrenching, silly, I know. In this world, there are only a few people who intimately know the 6.0 Powerstroke, and when Ron left us, we lost one of them. I can only imagine that The Almighty God himself owns a 6.0, and he was having problems with it. Ron was, and still is one of the elite when it comes to 6.0 Powerstrokes. I imagine he forever will be, and man, what a legacy to leave behind. I always got the impression that Ron liked to help people, that's what he enjoyed doing, it brought him happiness, and I only hope Ron can know and understand that even today, he is still helping people. That's a hell of a feather to put in your hat.
Even though I don't own a diesel anymore I still come to watch your videos from time to time. Miss ya buddy . Thank you for all that you have helped many of us with over the years.
Just found his forum I love it all thank you, even though he is gone his teaching and information has reignited my passion for diesel diagnosis thank you for sharing him with us still.
I found this channel today while searching for fixes for a 6.0 intercooler, and it helped me immensely. God Bless you and your family, brother-man. Your dad is still helping thousands of people to this day, September 7, 2024.
