On this channel, I (Lockstin) Educate and explain via tangential learning through Pokemon, (and sometimes other games) on my show called Gnoggin. Science, History, Math, and the origins of the design of Pokemon themselves, or even their moves and abilities! ... And sometimes we just show some fun Pokemon merch. Everyone needs a break now and again.
If you are curious about this channel's family-friendly nature, I'd personally give this channel a PG rating on about 95% of the videos. Some videos cross into PG-13 territory, but those typically are obvious by the thumbnail, and by a disclaimer at the beginning of the videos.

I know you’re not gonna see this but another thing that keeps megas so popular … is the name … if dynamax was first I feel like it would be called mega evelotion … even though dynamax and mega evolutions … aren’t evolutions … there form changes. They are the same other than time and name … except one is better because it can be used by all pokemon. Iv rambled enough.
I think the main things people have been overlooking are these things: - The clothing represented in the sketches is fairly modern-looking - The redevelopment plan's in-universe text is in a sans serif design; we've seen the serif equivalent as well, which indicates it's not that ancient - The company that appears to be spearheading the development plan looks to be named Quasar, given their symbol is a Q stylized like an actual quasar and the resemblance of the apparent logo to the word. Quasars were only named as such in the 1960s Taken altogether, it's entirely possible that this redevelopment plan is in the present or future, though there's some room for it to be the more recent past. I think we might be able to rule out distant past at this point, though.
Assuming the reason Blaziken was how strong it is on singles, Incineroar should've been at least at 3rd, arguably higher, the guy is a beast on the official competitive metagame, VGC
All this is really interesting to think about. One of the most important moments in history a lot of historians mention is the fall of the city of Constantinople, witch blocked the spice trade to Europe and made Portugal go to India traversing Africa by sea, witch was the start of the discovery of the rest of the world to the Europeans and started a lot of things happening, like a transition from past to future and everything this video already has mentioned with Portugal and Spain. It really makes sense the Pokemon region based in the Iberian Peninsula to have this theme of past vs future.
I had put aside this video, but then I got recommended it again, and again, and again, so I finally decided to watch it. Wow, just, wow, that's a lot to take it...
Couldn’t disagree more. I don’t care what order any of these gimmicks came in. Z-moves suck, Gigantamax is meh, and Terastalization is meh. Megas are VERY easily the best gimmick and SHOULD be a mainstay in the series. I don’t see it coming back except for rare instances like PLZA but I believe it should. I’ve always been a firm believer that evolutions shouldn’t end at just 3 stages. I was super excited when Megas were announced.
SV and Legends Arceus are part of the isekai collab theory. Colors don't necessary match bcus you have to take into account Wizard of Oz color theming and some other things too, under WoZ color scheme south would be pink. This is why Cyllene specifies that the LA protag is 15 because this in the Arcana 15 is The Devil/Typhon representing the storm that blows Dorothy into Oz. You see this age come up a lot in the other connected series (Nazamil in Tales of Arise DLC for example). Unova is connected to SV with Nadia: Secret of Blue Water references (another core of the isekai collab). This is why Nemona is called Nemo(na) after a character from that anime. Nadia is the inspiration for N too.
GNOGGIN IM BACK FROM THE FUTURE NINTENDO ANNOUNCED SOME WEIRD NEW POKEMON GAME AND FLASHED A WEIRD RAINBOW THING AT THE END MAYBE ITS THIS THING WE ALL CANT REMEMBER????
Something i find funny, and i do not know if someone noticed. But Raikou is also based in the Kirin or Qilin, a mythological beast of thunder and lightning that is sometimes a dragon (raging bolt) and sometimes a leopard/tiger (raikou). But in japanes Kirin is the literal translation of Giraffe, and Raging Bolt is a long necked creature/mammal/dragon. Its basically a Kirin Kirin (where my monster hunter fans at?)
Honestly the most frustrating thing about SV as a generation is that I so much prefer everything in design that’s unique to Violet over Scarlet, but things ranging from the depth of lore to the actual Pokemon in competitive formats is superior in Scarlet. That and it being my least favorite starter trio, but that’s my opinion
Hey thanks for this, it's really jumpstarted my brain into designing a philippines region for pokemon. Because spain lmao. Seriously this video was a great watch, loved watching u spiral into an "ITS ALL CONNECTED" episode.
"Most legendary Pokemon are genderless." >Proceeds to show Latias among them, a Legendary which _does_ have a gender, always being female (lest we forget, Latias is the female counterpart to the male Latios).
The turtles could both be in Paldea, just one in the past, and one in the future. They're projecting not through the planet, but through time. Thus why there are paradoxes from both past and future, simply brought along by the temporal projections of the two pokemon.
