No excuses for who wants to really train. I'd go and do pushups by putting toilet paper on the bathroom floor when we were out for a coffee with friends.
Ideally we would go find a tall tree with a few fruits hard to reach and take our time getting to them. This is what you are simulationg, that is a good thing :). Capoeira at it's best simulates two gibbons playing tig in a tree.
Had this one spot in my hip flexor that wouldn't go away, but the leg pulses helped me find relief and I feel I can easily touch nose or chest to floor in the straddle. Thank you for this.
Your channel is seriously underrated! I've been searching a comprehensive channel with soft acrobatics/capoeira drills for a while and this is ideal!! Your tutorials are super complete and detailed, you've definitely earned a new subscriber!!!
Wow! I usually don't comment, but this tutorial is so motivating and hopeful, especially for someone like me, a capoeirista of 5+ years who hasn't quite mastered this movement yet. Thank you immensely for this beautiful contribution.
Loved the flow and the life there, the space you give to individuality and experiment. Its not constrained to "this is the correct and only way to do it!", yet you give a solid base to start from.
I’m a new subscriber. I really appreciate these tutorials. I want to incorporate movement and mobility into my regimen and you have great breakdowns of these movements.
@movementdecoded I can do the standing movements, then seated off a block. As soon as I'm on the floor tho I can't move forward at all. It's like I'm stuck even tho when I'm doing it standing I got good range of motion?
