So the guy at the store said instead of taking it during the loading phase just take the normal amount and allow it to take effect over a month. Any thoughts on this?

For sodium I carry a small miniature packet of Himalayan Salt. I'll have enough for a whole day if need be. Very cheap alternative. Any drawbacks in this setup?

This is absolutely insane! What a ride! Best congratulations for your achievement! I did my first everesting last week on Alpe du Zwift, hard as hell but the satisfaction at the end is unbelievable!

thats very basic knowledge from my experience, but I liked the part about the noise and drifting from your goal because of what the others say. That was a good clue for me.

Glad to see your recovery is going well! Can't imagine what you've been through.. wow! Nice frame paint on your Tarmac. AirTrix has some history and still doing good work! I met him during my time on Team Zero Gravity in '97.. he was painting my teammate's helmets for Eric and Ben. I was on Mike Taylor Designs helmets then. Glad you are on the mend and looking good!

Yesterday I thought about you. Now I know why you were absent. I broke my my hip and my collarbone 6 weeks ago and Iam back now on my bike again. Best wishes from Germany and what a beautiful bike. I"ll get mine this year.

I was strength training for like 6 years and now started gravel cycling as well. I can feel a lot of benefis from having strong body on my bike especially during riding uphill and strong legs allow me to sprint fast but the factor that is limiting me right now is connected with cardiovascular health because i was not doing cardio at all in the past. Now after incorporating cardio (bike) like 2-3 months ago i feel like im less tired in general and that im able to regenerate faster between sets in the gym.

DEXA is good but it’s not infallible. Check out Greg Doucette who has done a ton of stuff on this scan.

I've noticed about 3kg of weight gain every time I take it. Creatine makes me stronger in the gym and slower on the bike. Maybe its a good base phase supplement?

Ridiculous question. If there is water retention, would it be a worthwhile supplement before a hot event? If you hold even 5 pounds of water from it, that's a substantial amount of fluid to get you through something when you're sweating heavily.

Ok. I did it before every ride. Went on that epic trip through Europe with TdF riders and ... This worked!!! I really didn't think much of it when I saw your video, but I brought a foam roller with me and have done this daily for months. This made a world of difference and I had a better few months than I've had in many years. Thanks!

Do you have any experience of people not getting any benefits from the gym? I'm someone who naturally holds muscle and with zero gym work can bench bodyweight and squat and deadlift 1.25bw. if I do gym work I get massive Dom's. Just wondering being someone who is naturally strong not fit if that time is just better spent on bike. 7-10hrs a week on bike.

Loved video, further evidence: the root to minimizing or eliminating my pain and increasing my on-bike performance is addressing muscle imbalances through resistance training. (Been avoiding because pain, there is pain because of avoidance🤔).

Hi, I started strength training regularly in the gym this year. 2-3 times a week with varying weights/ exercise. I still haven't found the right formula for maximum gains (particularly core work) but I have felt the effort difference on the cobbles this week to previous years. Currently I have a good squat pattern, Hip thrust/ Hamstring thrusts with varying weight between 40-55kg (squat) and 60-70kg (Thrusts). Both are growing and deadlifting (t-bar/ barbell) is getting there. Some advice on deadlifts and functional core would be helpful. I cannot wait to see the gains once I have found the right formula, although I'm debating whether to park it to once a week because my next goal is the Alps in August so weightloss maybe better. Advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Fits are subjective, especially for Elite riders. But fun to see how a computer is suggesting positioning. You’re killing off bike brother! 🦾
