Cars better start lasting 500k miles at least with how much they cost i could buy like a banging 10k car under 50k miles 3 years old 10 years ago todsy thats a chevy sonic thats got 30k miles an you might maybe make it to 50k miles before thousands un repairs
I have 2 cracked spot welds in the trunk that were there since I bought the car. I've since used the car for autocross events a handful of times, in addition to the occasional canyon road sprint, and have yet to have any more crack on me. Recently I replaced the very worn differential mount bushing with a genuine BMW replacement in hopes of reducing chances further. So far so good!
Versatile! I’ve got a 5 speed v6 and auto v8, one is a long bed and the other an access cab. Next I’m looking for a double cab/crew with options I haven’t tried yet. Unique trucks

It was my mums family, equipment and horse trailer hauler! I miss it a lot, and my dream is to one day buy one, restore it and paint it the way hers looked and give it to her. She misses her Isuzu too.
They sure did get their money's worth out of that 8 year unlimited mile battery warranty. They probably supercharged the bjeavers out of it on free supercharging too. Early adopters got the best deal.
Cool! I think I’m looking at the same problem. Currently replacing vacuum lines. Of those still present, some don’t match the diagrams. Regardless of the problems finding parts, I want to keep this cool little project vehicle. Not many like it in the Tucson area.

I'm sorry but there aren't many cars I know that pass 400k miles. Scant, scant few. Maybe the odd Diesel long haul saloon from the 90s but that's about it. Getting to 250k miles before requiring serious services is fantastic.

Your price adjustments are getting closer.. but it can be done a lot cheaper.. if you want to.. eg.. brand new set of aftermarket tyres and wheels just like for my Honda Accord.. or any other car for that matter..$700.. replacement door handle kit upgrade for paddle gear failure $10 eBay.. I mean should I go on.. complete second-hand warranted battery for $8, 000.. individual modules for under $1, 000.. all the other stuff you mentioned suspension and links bushes whatever all the same price as any ice car.. Anything can always be done cheaper... Remember this.!! I'm just wondering what ice engine costs .. not that much second hand I guess depending on what it is.. but what ice engine does 250,00 miles.. maybe some diesels.. but without any maintenance ? .. but anyway thanks for your video.. I suggest just explain the dealer prices next time.. other options.. and then the cheapest method of doing it.. all four comparison purposes... that would be very interesting.. Oh yes n we still have that ridiculous torque..😊
There were less options two years ago for diy or third party repairs, so prices were higher on average when I made this video. But yes, they are falling now
Hi. I've got this same Engine in an Australian Holden Redeo. I am hoping that it will be just as easy to get those fuel injectors out. Thankyou so much for this video and how you give a realistic time frame on how long it might take. (EGR hose😂) Now I am confident I'll need a whole day
Everything is easy except that darn egr pipe, both getting it off and then getting it back on again. You'll likely spend a frustrating amount of time just trying to get the thread started. Good luck!

Trying to figure out how to check and fill transmission and transfer case on a 89 2.6 stick shift, looks like there is a drain plug on driver side rear and looks like a plug mid way up passenger side that could be check / fill spot. Also I think another drain type plug in passenger rear. Any tips truck appreciated also what toe of fluid is best. Also brake fluid for the clutch in engine bay front corner ? Should I pull that old fluid and put new or would it maybe cause problems in a good working clutch Plan j g in new t coolant temp sensor , new valve cover gasket kit to stop leakage and distributor or ing ti stop leakage as well. Fun little rig !
My dad has a 97 gmc jimmy hes been having it for over 22 years he got it when i was like 4 its has over 269k miles and going running like a champ the red paint is cracked but the engine still healthy it recently had a problem but we fixed it in one day we call it in spanish la chingona ❤
