This is very one sided. In Poland taxi companies were actually a scam so nobody really miss them when choosing uber. I have not use taxis for years before uber. It was expansive, but even worse was that you never knew how much you will pay. In uber you can decide if you want to use them. You can benefit from the moments where there is less customers and fares are cheaper like night time. In contrast night time was the most expansive with normal taxi. Also the attitude of taxi drivers really bad compared to uber drivers. I will choose uber any day
