Ayurveda Plated is all about vegetarian recipes inspired by Ayurveda. I am a mom of two & have been following an Ayurvedic diet for the past four years. Have been using healthy alternatives for tamarind, Nightshade vegetables, fermented foods in my cooking. Ayurveda teaches us to prepare food keeping in mind that “we are what we eat and digest ". నాకయితే అంత బాగా వస్తుందనిపిం చలేదు hot water పోస్తే విర విర లాడుతూ విరిగి పోతున్నా యి.గోధుమపిండి తో వచ్చిన్నంత బాగా రావనే అనిపిస్తోంది నేను కూడా try చేస్తున్నా ను అయినా బార్లీ ని మరిగించి తాగితేనే మంచి ది.

We drain the water to digest but we drink the water for indigestion and fever. It is contradicting message. My grandmother drained the water while cooking in clay pot in a wood stove when I was a kid but used the water for washing hair or for plants. We drink rice kanji when we were sick. It is more like porriage with rice and water.

Have you churned the entire curd to butter of have you just used the creamy layer of curd for churning into butter? Can the full quantity be used?

I find ragi flour is off white color. Our ragi flour is brown color. We buy the flour from regular shop.
