Gas filled shock absorbers should push back up, however oil filled shockers don't. The spring pushes up. The shockers or dampers are there to stop bounce.
Oh ya. Lettin er rip. The real reason for this swap was I bought the car with a 4ac balancer on it. It had a 5 rib pulley and all the accessories are 4 rib.. so the 4 rib belt just danced around. OEM options were just as expensive so I bought the T3 unit. Any gains (which you have so kindly pointed out.. will be minimal) are just a bonus to the belt not squealing all the time.
Changing that without changing the balance of your internal components, there off the balancing of the crankshaft, therefore making the engine less productive what the fuck the point of you doing stupid shit read the fucking book
Very good vidéo ! I have honda jazz 1l2 ivtec with engine l12b1 and honda civic 8th 1l4 ivetc with engine l13z1 , it s the same procedur ? Sorry for my English, i live in France 😂 Thank's for your response ❤
😂 people all crying about you burning the rubber going to make them to weak . Its been done like this for 100 years on suspension components. Heating mild steel and letting it cool doesn't worry it at all
When you see somebody doing this trying to fix a car stay the f*** away from them they're not going to fix your s*** they're going to break it or cause more problems
Commonly I’d say you are right but, in this case, it’s just fine. Most people think cars are way more precious than they actually are. Drive em hard, break em, fix em yourself and repeat. They can take it.
But.. I did get new ones. They were 3D printed poly inserts. The OE mounts are a pretty terrible design and don’t stand up to my light flywheel and heavy clutch.
