I like aluminum pans till bark is formed then cover with foil. It bathes in the beef tallow. And keeps all the mess contained.😊

Real butcher paper would be a healthier option. Aluminum foil and some wax paper have Pfas in them. If it’s legit butcher paper it’s safe up to 450°

Going on my 4th handle now and none of them fit. They keep telling me it's not the lid, but I swear the lid holes are drilled incorrectly. I have 16 different smokers and grills, this isn't my first rodeo. Damn thing just won't fit and I just keep collecting handles.

Why is my new Ironwood L going beyond 500 and up to 555 when I want to sear/ grill? It’s a new unit. My first cook was pork chops. Ran it through the seasoning stuff then later turn on and to 500 but it kept climbing until it went into auto shut off mode for being too hot. Any info?

I got the new Ironwood L. Why when I set to 500 it keeps climbing beyond 500 up to 550 then goes into ERROR auto shutdown ??? I did get temp set to 275 yesterday and it worked great. It’s when I go for high heat for grilling and searing. Help??

Disappointed mine lost its connection after setting it up the day before the cook. Brand new grill, first time cook. I guess I should have checked the WiFi connection before placing my brisket on the grill. Now it seems like I have to turn the grill off to reconnect. Not impressed. You would think an expensive smoker would behave more like a standard IOT device.
