This video is like when someone writes a "run on" sentence in a never ending paragraph. Hard to follow what song/group/singer he's actually trying to talk about....next thing you know he's talking about someone else.
I would like to add something I was sharing the other day. When these singers/groups had a concert, they would have an opening act of someone trying to get into the industry. My first concert was Blood, Sweat and Tears. Everybody there agreed their opening singer was better than them. Some guy named John Denver. There was a group called Jerry and the Pacemakers. Their opening group was some group called the Beetles. Remember them, ha-ha? When the Beetles became very popular, they switched with Jerry and they became the Beetles opening act, until the Beetles became so popular they did not need an opening act anymore. Ah, what memories, what memories the songs in this video bring back. I do have CD's of a lot of the groups from back then and still listen to them. They actually knew how to sing, not scream like today's singers do.
I still listen to my Seekers greatest hits. My favorite on it is "Morningtown Ride," a song with smooth lyrics. To me, Judith Dunham had one of the prettiest female voices. ("Had" because she died two years ago. Australia gave her a royal funeral, their first since Steve Irwin.) You CAN find them on You Tube.
i dont know why this video was suggested to me but its clear that you have no idea what you're talking about... tv dinners vanished? have you never been in a frozen food section? what planet are you from?
I used to have a 45 from Wand records, it was by the Kingsmen and it was a cover of George Harrisons "To Love Somebody". Ah the wonders I used to find in the Ben Franklin record bin for 5 cents.
Corn at 0:28? I think you need to learn what corn looks like. The creamed chipped beef was not called SOS for due to economics and easy preparation. SOS stands for "Shit on a Shingle" The creamed chip beef is the shit and the shingle is the bread.
Did you start the video with TV dinners on purpose for viewer engagement? Cause it’s working lol. TV dinners have simply evolved over time. They’re still around, go down literally any frozen food isle.
Tv dinners were and are garbage. Ham and banana holendaise. Sorry yuk. Sloppy Joe would be okay without thr burger roll and not too much sugar in the bbq. Rice a Roni too many carbs. I'm just telling you my thoughts as for thr rest enjoy whatever you like. Mutton sounds good. Beef stroganoff was nice but now the noodles make it too carby. Waldorf salad not my thing please enjoy my portion please. Liverand onion yum yum. braunswegert okay. Pineapple chicken is probably too much sugar. Spam world be acceptable in an emergency. Any eggs but pickled eggs which get saturated with sugar. No tuna surprise its too surprising to me. Meanwhile enjoy.
I was 12 years old when Chubby Checker made a song called 'Popeye'. A hitch-hike dance tune. I didn't care. I was a 12 year old kid enamored by slot cars. I'm 74 now and I think 'Popeye' is a "wonderful song".. . . where was I? Hitch hiking on a slot car track.
Is this a digital voice? No feeling in it. And what about the Young Rascals? Is he saying they were forgotten? He's really not saying much - just some informational tidbits. Poorly put together video.
KSAN 98.5 on the FM dial was The Bay Area's first underground Radio station, playing the long play recordings! Like the Grateful Dead, The Allman Brothers Band, and the psychedelic scene! I cams of age with KSAN!
