This tut SAVED MY BUTT however the collar is really screwing me over, the final design has two triangles on both sides, in the video the second triangle (the top one) pops out of no where towards the end, unless ive missed that part, how did you get the upper triangles on the collar
I love this!!! I used upholstery brocade. Here’s a link to the website where I got it (and you get 10% off with that link): www.fashionfabricla.com/PLEXICOSPLAY
Ty! It took me about 3 days, but I was harvesting the sandworm head, shrunken head, and Handbook for Recently Deceased from an old costume I made a few years ago.
thank you so so SOOO much for posting this ;; the vague instructions about the yoke back sent me spiraling for a solid day before i found this video :,) you’re the best, thank you <3
You are amazing for this thank you!! I bought the pattern and not the actual coat because I personally also wanted the shoulders to not be as dramatic. Lol
Thank you so much for this video! I'm working on the outfit as well and I have a question! After printing and taping all the pieces of the paper patterns together, do I have to cut the 1cm outline of the patterns? There is a line in the guide about doing just so, but I'm a little anxious if I understood it correctly, since the guide has a few unclear parts. Thanks in advance!
Whyyyyy didn’t you know how the collar gets attached! I am struggling on that last bit and it seems skipped over 😭 amazing help on everything else though
I know, I've failed everyone on that haha. I'm so sorry, here's my recommendation! basting stitch it to one side first to get a feel for where it should be placed, and then sew it between the lining and main material with the understanding that you may have to pick out some stitches to get it placed perfectly where the ends of the collar meet with the lapel. It takes a little finessing...I just totally forgot to record or lost that clip :(
@@PlexiCosplay Only teasing, lols. Obviously its the same but I wanted to see how many bites I could get before you set the record straight. You looked great btw, nice job. 😊😊
@@benzles8492 I usually get the 'that's a fake person' with my armors, so I was almost complimented by this one! Haha thank you, and have the best weekend <3
