Hey! For the skirt, I used a 12v rechargable lithium ion battery. I don't remember how many strips of LEDs I used, but the length of time to power your lights depends entirely on how many lights you have!

For sure! So this is going to be different for everyone, but I should have put some info in here. I think I may do a video just for the electronics portion for this full build. I'm actually redoing this as well, so ideally what I'd like is for each panel to get wired together to one pos and one neg wire. So that's four panels down to 1 pos/neg wire. Then I'd solder these to a connector (I'll show these later, but they're here: amzn.to/3upCRdl ). Then I had a bus bar to connect all LED pieces from armor to one point. That bus bar then had one plug to connect to a 12V rechargable battery! So it sounds confusing here, but I promise to do a followup video. The LED strips are typically 12v, so you just want a battery that powers that. And the strips I linked to actually already have a plug installed! Is that about what you experience? Do you find a backup power pack is necessary when out and about? Thanks for taking the questions, I really should get out a play around with it.

@@michaelrothaupt4755 Yes, I actually think I've used t hat exact battery as well. I don't usually keep my lights on for super long periods of time -- That sounds about right on the timing, but I have definitely brought my charger and charged the battery between times when I'm out on the floor or between judging and competition!
