Anthony Newley was such an exciting and daring performer who always sent chills down my spine whenever I saw him - one of the greats!

Bowie was a huge Fan and used to imitate him several times,

I presume it must be a Newley and Bricusse but I can’t find it listed or mentioned.

Yes, this man had “IT” in spades sorry if I’m being ignorant and obtuse but who wrote this? There is no mention anywhere that Mr Newley did - help please!

There is not a soul alive today who could do that LIVE ... as they did. Wow. It doesn't get any better.

Newley’s over the top style is not for everyone, but for those of us it hits right, he is great. My favorite of his is the rarely heard “Learning To Love You Again” from a album that I do not think was ever reproduced in digital form. I think someone has put it up here on RU-vid though.

"Where are the Words?" Really, there are none that could do him and this performance, justice.

Anthony Newley wrote & performed such powerful songs. Unique. Theatrical..and Sammy Davis Jr interpreted Newley perfectly..on record & Live. Close friends. Doesn't get better than this. Rest in Peace
