Me and my friend got into the Dead Space franchise together a few years back. DS2 is one of my favorite games of all time. I prefer Isaac as an actual character and the story is pretty solid. Incredible gameplay and immersiveness. Certainly a must play!
I don't remember ever being able to go up with the Horney by just looking up actually. Which is bizarre because I played Halo 3 an insane amount as a child. Could it be the binds on mcc are making it weird? (I may be stupid)
Halo Infinite feels like a shitty Destiny clone set in the Halo universe. But without the story, replayable activities or true diversity in gameplay styles that 343 clearly tried to emulate, but failed entirely
It’s interesting watching this from a speed runner because I haven’t played through these levels without skipping sections since my first playthrough back when it released.
So I've started to do legendary runs because I've never done it before. Reach is my second halo game I'm running on legendary. Maybe I'm just bad with the plasma pistol, but ngl, the needler is great for killing the elites. On the weaker ones, I think usually it'll kill them on a single mag dump, but on the stronger ones, I just mag dump the needler then switch to a dmr or smth and finish them up.
Ugh I started this recently, and have never played it before. Dived in Legendary straight away and it's easy, currently on chapter 4. Palmer is so rude here for whatever reason. "Man up Hacksaw", they are literally dying, what is wrong with her? 4+ Watchers at the same time is painful, and makes the Prometheans so unfun. Nothing like killing a Knight thinking you took care of every Watcher then one flies in from another Galaxy. Noob combo (Light Rifle for the scoped damage bonus and plasma Pistol) and Regeneration Field are overpowered. I use AA efficiency and Dexterity and rarely die (only dying to BS like 5+ Jackal snipers spawning). Overall 5/10 experience, clearly designed for multiplayer, so it's weird that they even bothered with a solo Legendary achievement when you have infinite respawns and no lives.
Halo CE is perfection, and im so sad it doesnt have firefight. I play it every week and I still get surprised by seeing new events of the sandbox in combat and ai tactics
It's funny that in the actualy canon of the games, Halsey chose not to use emotional inhibitors because of the risk of the *exact* type of fail plot the TV show does. It's so completely bizarre and obvious that the people involved didn't really want to make a Halo show. And yeah, the show DOES over-rely on you knowing existing lore. The lore it deliberately goes out of its way to shit on. It's really strange. So I'm expecting that Miranda will find a cure to the Flood and that the Halo rings will have a feature that can bring people back from the dead.
Almost finished a new playthrough myself. This and its sequel are truly timeless to me. Only problem is don’t make my mistake and play nothing but it, the sequel and the MMO for weeks or months at a time otherwise you WILL get sick of it.
On 'the oracle', during that slow elevator ride down, you can do several jumps and load glitches that will bring you to the bottom of that shaft in like 1 minute flat. I could never get it right, myself, but if you know the loading zones, you can at least drop yourself to the bottom near the end of the elevator, and you don't even need to glitch a death barrier or shuffle around in the way speedrunners do. My cheap method only saves like a minute or so, but it's better than nothing! I personally just can't seem to figure out all of the load glitches, only the final one.
