I can play on high settings, although my CPU then decides to get baked at around 90deg Celsius any help? I have water-cooled 13gen Intel i9-13900KF 3GHz, 64gb ram, geforce rtx 4080 blah blah blah......
Man, now every game I install on my PC I run here to see if you made an optimization video about the game, thank you very much for your excellent work. I hope they remove this stupid Denuvo that causes these stutters and low fps exactly like The calisto protocol. After removing the Denuvo junk, the game saw a 25% improvement in performance.
Very good guide, but it can only do so much. The game simply is terrible at performance imo. There are very weird stutters moving/rotating the camera, zooming in and out, switching characters regardless of your hardware or settings. Those stutters seem to persist no matter what you do, and is likely due to problems game has in using the CPU, like you said.
As much as I hate AA, turning it on was the only way to get particle effects to not look pixelated even if I cranked it up to ultra. Thanks for the video, great stuff
Super nice going through this and tying the settings to what was happening on screen. They need your script in the setting extra details info that pops up. Way more clear than what they got up there for sure.

Enjoy your content. Is there an optimized settings video on the current version? Playing on a 2060 super with 1440p balanced or 1080p UltraQuality - with DLSSTweaks. Both run great but yeah not 100% smooth. Currently at High with Shadow Medium.
