I’m Alessandro, and welcome to my channel! The videos I’m making for you all are specifically geared towards making trips to visit the dentist easier, less mysterious, and, let’s face it, less scary! I’ll be showing you the different types of instruments and materials we use, what we do and why, and some of the terminology we use. If you have kids, you can show them the videos, that way they get a better understanding of what’s going on before they get in the chair! I’ll also be giving you all tips on how to stay as healthy as possible, especially since the COVID-19 pandemic has prevented many practices in many states from keeping their hygienists, the awesome people who clean your teeth, from working due to legitimate safety concerns. To sum it all up, I want to keep you all as healthy as possible and make your dental visits easier for you!
I went to my dentist needing two broken bottom teeth extracted. They said it required x-rays they came in the room and asked me to write two separate checks one for the x-rays and one for the two extractions. I wrote both checks totaling $578. They said that they would file the claim with Delta Dental and I would get my money back. The month went by saw no check in the mail I contacted Delta Dental they said there was a foul-up and that they had two different addresses that line 56 had a different address and then the dentist office I went to the office and explained this to them, and get it corrected 3 days later I get a form in the mail that says that the cost of services was $700. And that Delta Dental paid the provider $121. So suddenly the bill was higher for the work and I received nothing as far as compensation I've been paying that policy for over 4 years with zero claims when in the world is having any type of dental insurance not cover X-rays and extractions? What is the excuse what do the hell they cover? The fraud the dental office charged them? If the procedure was only $578 and no claim to the insurance company at all me trying to get my money back gave the dentist office on the extra $121 and me nothing so next week I'm going to take the document and go to the sheriff's department and file a complaint I'm actually going to have them call and ask what the cost of X-rays and two broken off extractions would cost them out of pocket with no insurance and try to bust them in fraud.
At least I'm not the only one! I shared can you reschedule at the last minute but I showed make it to that second appointment early. I just got this it was my 4th so that I'm going to have to call there everyday to see if anything is available...lol. I been there literally 7 times in the last 6 months though. I had to get a crown, how they wanted to full try tiny fillings. Sorry just don't like to get poked in the mouth with a large needle that hits your nerves that feels like torture. Of course people are gonna cancel. They never even told me before what a broken appointment was until today. I think they should've at least told me that I had three already so I would have had a heads up this time. People hate the dentist for a reason. They're acting like people that do this are bad people. Know we are not. We just have other things or issues to deal with.
It’s not mild. It’s absolutely awful! I know person to person yeah but the pain can affect your entire body. I’m finally about to get surgery because it takes 5 years to find a doctor to even find it, even though I can lock my throat in to the one side. One doctor said I was flexible … I live on Imodium because the vagus nerve affects my stomach and you don’t sleep because of the pain. I appreciate a video because it’s rare and hard to find them, but this video is far off.
This Dr is a quack...... he makes a video without having adhesives in stock... couldnt he just run to the nearest store and grab a tube... or grab it on the way home and make the video tomorrow...? Then he does a piss poor job of showing where anf how much to put the adhesive...

What is the name of the bonding agent so I can see the price myself cause I believe dentists ppl are lying and make these high prices because they know ppl will have no other choice because nobody want to walk around with no teeth. Yes! Absolutely Agreed! I was lucky to get into a state dental school, but I also remember applying to out of state private schools, and OMG! The burdening debt that you will be saddled with for the remainder of your life will hamper your ability to have any quality of life! The numbers simply don't make sense! The debt load, however, is not the only concern with pursuing a dental degree! This high dental school cost has also brought about more new dentists on the market which has caused increased saturation in the job market, especially in bigger cities! So, you have an impossibly high debt load, fierce competition from more dentists for fewer jobs! This is a recipe for disaster in more ways than one!! Pre-dental students need to seriously be made aware of this issue before they make a decision they will regret forever! This really should be talked about more with pre-dental students!
I had throat cancer and before treatment I went to the oncologist dentist for my exam and mouth guard. I was told I had good teeth and did not need one. Little did I know, how awful this has been. My teeth are so decayed and my oncologist dentist did a root canal and never capped the tooth, they told me to go to a general dentist and get my own cap. Well no one will touch these teeth! I have paid for so many consults. Since they left the tooth exposed, it is now impacted with food and needs to be redone! I’m beyond disgusted! My cancer hospital is Sloan Kettering! So anyone who chooses to come here make sure you have a good dentist lined up. I’m in so much pain everyday and they don’t give a damn!
Ive got temporary all on 6 fixed teeth and when i go for the perms i will need this. I just hope the real teeth are better than these temps because i look like a frustrated beaver at the moment

Mine are really tight on the bottom and not so on the top, but any Dr. that looks in my mouth seems to call someone over to look at it like I'm a unicorn. Kinda funny.

I don’t believe you. You don’t see it because you don’t treat those people. They pull their teeth on their own terms in their own community. What a sad life.
I agree with 100 percent with what you are saying. Delta Dental is a monopoly. They are the ONLY company that just does DENTAL..so many practices in my area are getting out of network and I have been able to show patients that they can actually save money by dropping Delta and paying out of pocket. Don’t give your money to Delta dental..you will not get back a return on your investment.
I run a small bead the whole length of the trench. It doesn't squirt out the sides. The bottom denture has been the issue for me. I have to take the bottom out to eat or it's gonna come out on its on.. I haven't found anything strong enough to hold the bottom in yet. Not even Fixodent Ultra Max Hold
😂😂 im sorry but if you're going to do a whole video educating us on the correct way of putting adhesive on , you'd think perhaps you would use the actual products rather than say BBQ sauce 🤔. I get better advise from random denture wearers on RU-vid.
