@@kennethphillips6006 RU-vid algorithm promotes videos based on watchtime per impression. I need more clicks and for them to watch for longer. With less view time I’d be less promoted, do you want me to describe in 1m and you never see the video. Honestly I’m so sorry I didn’t deliver this free info exactly as you wanted it.
30 years in this Crafmanship! I sincerely do not have the time and. Energy.for starters. Rude ? No., learn to sand mozaik,or compressed wood (underfloor) fm.that ,try under supervision to start with a 40 or 60 grain belt sander, preferably Hummel, with the proper advise, and guidance! Less than a second too long dropping the belt ,can ruin a floor! Let alone the speed one is walking, and the further process. I am.Rotterdam The Netherlands based, and forgive Me,I am.considered,as the top !! I go.insanely for into details to.deliver My utmost result! Still at every Floor I start.like walking on eggs. The Clients expectatiins, wishes, comments during the process! Sincerely happy when I get the news, wooow,We are so.happy with the result! Forgive Me for mentioning this; 2014 I was announced the best im 2014! You know what; I does not matter! Allways ,go for the next 100 pct reshlt. And sometimes a floor is not suitable for a great result! I could go on and on about this work! Do not make shorcuts, ask for information, stop as a private person when You are in doubt, because it could end up.costing loads of money Kind regards, Rene du Bois Rotterdam The Netherlands Currently working for AJM VAN HOUDT 15.000 M2 maintenance Amare Venues The Hague
It starts with the machinery ,craftmanship. Experience. 30 years in the flooring. Still with much pleasure and everytime delighted when a customer tells Me that they are so happy. Downside machinery is kinda heavy ! Using Hummel and side machine by Laegler. Powerdrive by Bona ) expensive but a monster! Rotex EQ 150 by Festool, cornersander by Festool Polishing / buffing machine by Bona Vacuumcleaner 36 type by Festool Laquers I prefer Ecowood 2k Kind regards, Rene du Bois The Netherlands
The best part in comparison to an office job,You do not have to carry a pen and notebook. A Hummel is much lighter to carry into the house to do Your Job. Oh I forget the remaining machinery. Lagler side, Festool vacuumcleaner Rotex Corner sander Oil,or laquer! Oh sorry the work is on the 2nd floor ! No elevator I am 30 years in this craft 60 and still loving it
I allways look at the floor ,the toplayer, the scratches, the stains Then I have talk with the Customer what to expect! I never react on others work! I do My routine for 30 years. I do not like colours on oak! I do not force Clients into a finish! I warn sometimes, based upon experience. I do My utmost on every floor! Communication is a important part.
I see this is from a year ago and wondering if you ever got your money. Sorry this happened. I don’t see that you did anything wrong except for trying to be a decent human being. Now sadly you’ll be jaded by it and less likely to help somebody who genuinely won’t mess you over.
@@HowToSandAFloor too honest... I had a perfectly flat sanding stain job last week. I'm praying they don't pick up on polisher marks in the stain job. I work so hard on it...
hi again! one doubt, I have been sanding all day with a bona scorpion (45 kg 1 drum, not as big as yours). And this last 3h I have broken 4 sandpapers. These are the ones you put it with 3 screws. Can you tell what could it be?
How would you fill gaps between floorboards - slivers or filler? I am worried about filling dropping to the pipes and not sticking to the sides of the floorboards.
To all the "two sides to every story" merchants commenting here - what possible explanation (short of intentional sabotage by the customer, which never came up) would explain away the work which is visibly not of a minimal professional standard?
Even though the work might not be the best "quality", who the hell decides what is "quality" and what "isn't quality". When youre working to the customers preference, its a never ending game of delaying payment until they are "satisfied". Yes, the contractor did a terrible job but they still deserve to be paid for the time they spent at the property. They kept returning due to panicking and trying to amend the job. That is outside of the contract so yes, not the customers fault but they do owe them money within the timeframe that was quoted. The job wasn't priced on the basis of how it looks, it's for the overall service, the time, attention, travel, wages, expenses. I am on the side of the contractor here but can see both points of view. The contractor should have been more honest but again we dont know the full story. Ultimately the contractors are still owed money. You cant just take groceries out of a supermarket just because the vegetables dont look the best. You still need to pay for them. Sorry, pay your bills!! So you're not paying, so are they have supposed to have worked for free? A decent human being would have explained you were not happy and give them a chance to rectify the issue. Regardless, they are still owed for their time.
I'm hoping someone can tell me if this technique helps with 2 1/4 as well because I've changed my drum and upper roller and wheels and made sure the shaft had no impedance and I still get this wave or what we call chattering here.
