Adopted a reactive 3 year old corso that the family was not able to walk on leash. Best dog ive owned so far, super gentle with the kids even when playing. now we are looking into buying a staffy and a boerboel to increase our pack 👌

Love my Corso. She's a real sweetheart, incredibly strong, and quick while at the same time easily the gentilest dog I have ever owned, maybe even met! No trouble on any level. Friendly to a fault to both people and animals. Always looking to make a new friend when we are out walking together. And that, after overcoming a tragic beginning of having been beaten with a heavy club to the point of breaking out her canine teeth on one side, and blinding her in the eye from that same side. She is truly a remarkable animal. Not only that, but she has learned how to be a support animal helping the crippled walk with canes, or needing to move very slowly. She is amazingly patient!!

Hahaha thats so true, 7 years ago ive got my Corso, never heared about that Breed. Now, i know and see soooo many, but most people have no idea what they have for a Dog...

Loving my Second Cane Corso, Mae and my English mastiff, Rye (born just 4 days apart). My Corso is the typical emotional, super smart girl who alerts me of anything out of the ordinary. My English Mastiff is lovey, but not nearly as smart or emotional. We joke that Mae will protect us from the front whilst Rye will protect us “from behind”!😂 Love them, love them, love them!

I love mine to bits but people really really need to be aware of how stubborn and how much time and training they need as much they are amazing they push constantly to be top dog. Alfie is 11 months he melts my heart and brings so much joy to my day I'm really struggling with him right now but we all struggle with bringing up.our children as Well lol. They are really starting to be popular in our country and I would hate to.see.the kennels.filled with them due to people not fully understand ing what they are taking on

Hi guys. I'm cane Corso and rottweiler lover and breeder. I've got a random question for you. According to European corso standard bitches should be between 40-45kg heavy, males 45-50kg. None of my dogs meet that requirement. Lightest female is nearly 50kg, heaviest male is around 70kg. I watched a good interview with Paolo Breber and he said that modern Corsos are not what he intended them to be. Once kennel clubs got involved they started crossing them with boxers to downsize them. I personally prefer them bigger. Go big or go home! It irritates me that group of people decide what particular breed should look like and force their view on everybody else. Including on person who put lots of effort to recreate the original breed. Without him Corsos wouldn't exist today. And those morons think they know better. I'm planning to get few Neapolitan mastiffs and cross them with my largest Corsos. That should produce what I think Corsos looked like years ago. Somewhere down the line I will cross neos with English mastiffs to get what's called American molossus. I'm really looking forward to it. I'd just like to know what your views are on those modern corso standards
