Vegetarian Indian Street food is the most innovative tasty healthy cuisine in the world and if dairy is avoided means no butter, cheese / paneer or yogurt is vegan ethical too.
That kheer/ rice pudding topped with mango was great innovation. I could be wrong if its some other dish or tapioca instead of rice. But it's very inviting.
Even if its an admiration video of indian experience, the shots of litter made me sad and often fills a gloomy expression over "development peojects". - Right wing emotional fools can calm their mind by saying look at US today or paris burning, but let me remind them they both were not like this in their path of 3trillion $. India stills is the same as 2005 despite huge figures. Even in 2030, We all know in 5 yrs nothing much will improve and further at 10Trillion$ economy anytime before 2035, When Washington Post or France 24 ask a mere simple question- " 3rd largest Economy, cheap labour with cheap labour can't keep streets clean"....I am afraid that Proud Patriots that time won't be able to stand or turn their face away.
"Bhai jaan" is typically used when addressing a person of the Muslim faith. In todays overly nationalistic/polarised society, it can cause offence (if you address a Hindu person as Bhaijaan). You can continue to say Bhaijaan but if someone gets offended, now you'll know why. :)
I live around 400 -500km south east side from Mumbai...Street snacks Vadapav , Pav Bhaji, pani puri , Misal pav etc are same like Mumbai , Pune...But the main course food here is very spicy and different...In your next India visit , do try to come this area of Marathwada
Mumbai probably is the WORST city in India when it comes to food. If you loved the food there, you have a real treat waiting for you across the rest of India
