@@ProjectRVLivingLost Jersey gets a bad rap sometimes for good reason. There are some beautiful areas like you said. We have the Pine Barrens which is I think 1,000,000 acres and is preserved. It’s great place to get out in nature. The Northwestern part of the state is beautiful. It’s also a couple of hours to the Poconos N.Y. and DC. 50 miles to the ocean from where we live. It also has the highest taxes in the country Lol!
Great video! We usually spend a week in Virginia every April (within a day's drive of our home in Delaware and just a bit further south for better weather) and we spent another week there last fall, which was spectacular! We usually camp in state parks (with our pop-up camper). We just visited SML last month - not camping but spending a weekend at our friends' lake house after our camping week. I haven't been to VA Beach in decades - time to visit again! And we tried to get a campsite at First Landing last April, but it was booked - I didn't realize it was so large! We'll have to try again next spring. We love the state parks in VA - you can check out our vlogs :) Glad to have found your channel!
The Salt River in Mesa is a lot of fun. Have done it w/ my wife & kids a few times. Always a blast. Glad you got to enjoy it again. How was the Havasupai hike?
Yeah we have really enjoyed our couple of experiences on the Salt River! Havasupai was the hardest and most magical thing we’ve ever done. We’ll be sharing our experience soon!
My husband and I have 2 vehicles. We wanted to rent our own stuff from a different company and take it to the Salt River to float down. So we can park one vehicle to the finish point and take the other vehicle to where we are going to start and don't have to pay any fee but the Toronto pass?
Yes you would park a vehicle at Salt River Tubing Co. and start your float from Blue Point Recreation Site (If you wanted to do what we did). That would typically be about a 3-4 hour float. We actually have a more detailed video on the Salt River coming out on Sunday. That may help a little more!

That looks so awesome! Does your truck have the 7.3 or the 6.2 gas engine? It doesn't look like a diesel anyway, please correct me if I'm wrong. Safe travels!
Never ever drink water straight from any streams or lakes in the US. They all contain Giardia parasite. It will make you very sick, intestinally. Always filter or boil water.
I live over there.. 2 must haves are a boat and a 4 wheel drive to launch the boat.. we do all we can to help campers or answer questions about things.. very nice people here.
