Hi everyone, today I have a full review & 5 day wear test of the brand new Elf Soft Glam Satin Foundation, the Elf Brow Laminating Gel, The Elf Lock it Down Eyeshadow Primer & the Elf Lip Plumping Gloss!
As far as I know, the foundation & brow gel are only available directly from the Elf website currently, but will be available at Ulta, Superdrug, Boots etc soon!

I would like to tell you my experience with Elfs shade matching system and shade match guarantee. First off elf asks you if you would like to enter either an elf foundation shade or another brand I opted to match to my flawless satin foundation by elf since I figured they would know to match their own foundation easiest. This is not a requirement. I ulentered shade 250 buff warm with yellow undertones they told me to order shade 22 light warm. I did not l8sten and ordered 24 light warm because I got a lil darker. This I regretted. I emailed elf mentioning the guarantee expecting to send my shade back. They told me I could discard the product I got and they refunded my card. And by the time I recieved the e mail the money was returned as well. I did not expect this high level of help. By the way they replied within 24 hrs. I in turn ordered the correct shade with My card.❤😊thank you elf

Shade 21 is so good on you! I've been so excited to try the ELF Brow Laminating Gel. I love if I can find brow products at the drugstore because I go through them the quickest. I can't wait to try it! I do like ELF glosses, esp their lighter and pinky shades. I hope you had a nice time in England ✨It's my dream to visit England and Ireland one day 💖

STUNNING as usual! Your eye makeup pops so beautifully 😍 The foundation looks great - do you think you’d reach for it above any of your luxury brands? You mentioned the Givenchy Prisme Libre powder in this video…I bought it recently and have no idea how to use it best? Mix all colours? Tip it into the lid? Use a puffer or brush? Probably just over complicating it! 😂 You are clearly putting so much effort into your content and I, for one, really appreciate the detail! The daylight clips, swatches, inserted information about the products…etc are so helpful 😊 I’m having a ‘Carmel Catch-Up’ morning here 😂

Hey beautiful lady! ☺️💕 Oooh, good questions! I really like the foundation and I’ve been reaching for it when I need a bit more coverage. It’s definitely a great ‘every day’ foundation but as to whether I’d reach for it over my _favourite_ luxury foundations…hmm probably not! It definitely has a high end feel though & is without a doubt my favourite Elf foundation so far 🙂 Now the Givenchy, it took me a while to figure it out too! 🙃 I just shake it upside down when it’s closed which tends to mix the colours together in the dispensing section. I then dip an angled eyeshadow brush in & use it that way. It allows me to be more precise! You’ll definitely get a good application with a puffer but I don’t feel like I can control it as well and can dispense too much on my face! Aw I’m so glad you find the extra bits helpful! I guess I just include things that I would look for in a review. However I’m also conscious that I like to ramble a lot- but I’m slowly learning to curb it 😂 Your support means the world Charlene, you’re amazing 🩷☺️

@@CarmelNicoleBeauty I’ll pick up the Elf one to try as a ‘work’ option…don’t like to wear expensive stuff during the week. When my YSL foundation was discontinued in 2021, I asked everyone for vouchers for birthday/Christmas that year and got my makeup done at about 15 different counters so that I could redeem it against product, so I still have so many ones to try, it’s actually insane! I haven’t even tried the Dcypher yet…my baby (English Bulldog) tore his cruciate ligament and had to have surgery so I’ve been babysitting him every day since and haven’t even left the house to warrant makeup 😩 (my poor husband looking at this face 🤣) Thank you for the tip on the powder, I’ll try that 👍 I’ll also look into the Zoeva brushes…my ones are mostly Blank Canvas Cosmetics if you’ve ever heard of them (Irish brand for anyone watching abroad). Keep doing what you’re doing…not rambling at all…definitely being thorough and endearing!! Thank you, YOU’RE amazing! 🙌💖

Hi Jillian! Oh wow, that is very strange…I’m beginning to think that RU-vid are actually trying to hide me me at this stage 🙈😭 Ahh thank you, they were a real pleasure to test! The Laminating gel…wowzers! I’m blown away, a genuine contender for my favourite product of the year so far! 😮 The satin foundation js really lovely, but nothing absolutely groundbreaking so definitely agree to stick with your L’Oreal cream! I actually flew to Leeds/Bradford on this occasion as I was in Harrogate for the weekend, so didn’t visit Manchester at all! Believe me, if I had, Sephora would’ve been my first port of call (well, after my parents’ house 😂) I miss the Trafford Centre so much 😥 Hope you have a fab weekend Jillian 😘💖 xx

For the money the ELF satin foundation looks pretty good though, I may try it at some point. I have an Aunt living in Harrogate! I think they have a Betty's Tea Rooms if Im not mistaken, they used to have long queues waiting for tables, it looked really quaint!!
