19 year old here. My dentist told me he was just stretching my cheek to make sure the numbing cream would get to the right places and jabbed me when I wasn't looking. In love with him ong, hate needles
My dentists do that. If I start to cry they will think something up and tell me it and they will remove my teeth and there like "all done" and I'm like " all done with what?" and they say "all done removing two teeth😅"
Haha, I’m going to the dentist every month for braces and I will keep doing so for the next 5 years or so! Me and my dentist’s have bonded enough that it just ends up being a gossip visit lmao
My dentist wiggles his patients cheeks so that they are focused on that rather then the medicine. He hooks us up though. He makes sure he gets the meds to the nerves and we don't feel a thing.
It’s nice to know she had a better experience then I did, when I was getting my teeth pulled at a “specialist” dentists office in a bigger city then my local one, I was scared cause I had to get 3 teeth pulling and as I cried he told me that if I cried anymore another girl who was having a very big surgery would die because my cries were too loud. And it would distract him. I cried more but quietly because I did t want to hurt another girl.
Holy moly! This dentist is terrific with this boy. My sisters and I had an abusive dentist growing up. Mostly mental/emotional abuse. It is soooo good to see the effort in building trust. To this day, I need medication before I see the dentist for anything.

Growing up I personally had a lot of work done to my teeth.. I had something called bottle rot. In simple terms, meaning I had a binky for longer than I should have. So I would constantly go in for procedures. I do not remember a singular thing about them cause they were when I was a kid. I’m pretty sure I was put on anesthesia for certain ones, but I know for a lot, they have to keep you awake so they just numb your mouth.
Love this. I've gotten lucky so far and have had dentists similar to this. Just two months back I had to have a tooth pulled due to an infection. My anxiety got so bad I started shaking in the chair, and the clinic I was at did not have laughing gas to help calm me down. The dentist working with me went slow, talking me through each step and giving me time to calm down as needed. I'm honestly grateful for him doing that because I know in the future I will likely need another tooth pulled. Maybe the way he helped me will help me more in the future.
