Hi, I'm Megan, and welcome to my channel. I joined the Catholic Church in 2017, and now I interview other Catholic converts about how and why they joined the Catholic Church. I also interview priests and other religion about their vocation stories, and I occasionally post about my own faith as well.

This is such delusion. The pope is most likely the false prophet and the "catholic" church is the whore of babylon. 99%of modern Christendom is apostate as we are in the end times. The kicker is that Francis CHan is trying to unite the "Catholics"and "protestants" to form the one world religion.

Really ..... have you bother to check your accusations or you are just parroting what you heard from the pulpit?! Sola scriptura is not biblical. Sola fide is not biblical. Altar call is not biblical. Each of the protestant pastors are having their own interpretation and each claim to have the Holy Spirit guiding them and each being their own version of Pope. Am I talking nonsense?! Explain your 30,000 denominations!

Amy, too bad that you did not become familiar with the Reformed doctrines which date back to the 1500s . Oral Roberts was a bad choice, the prosperity gospel etc. The Bible is the ultimate way to Jesus Christ. The Roman Catholic doctrine are full of idolatry and many anti biblical practices. Not the Gospel message which Jesus thought. God's Word is the only arbiter of Thruth. You cannot be saved through good works. We are saved by Grace through faith. Check out the Presbyterian Church in America. We have a sound doctrinal background going back to the 1500s.

Look at countries where church has still a lot of influence and how they are happy :D fruits of church are decaying and it is they own fault. I had religion in school as a subject and it was catholic teaching by priest nun or catholic teacher. I have learned that you shouldnt touch yourself and how to colour Mary and Jesus pictures. 😂😂😂

I love how faithful Christians who come to the fullness of the faith in Catholicism do not feel some need to "slam" or attack their former tradition, but rather explain that it is an incomplete or slightly in-error version of the faith. Protestants generally love Christ and desire to follow Him and if they can be exposed to His true Church in love and patience they will long for the Sacraments and Grace of the fullness of the faith they possess.

I am in the middle of some research to see what the percentage is of those who are truly born from above, and are baptized and filled with the Holy Spirit, looking to convert to Roman Catholicism. So far, I would say that the percentage is very low. Unless a person has recently been baptized in the Holy Spirit, and in search of a Holy Spirit-filled church, the spirit of discontent that prompts one to convert from one church to another church institution is not present with one who has found contentment in Christ and the Holy Comforter.

Thanks so much for sharing: I am a reformed Baptist pastor and I appreciate your sincerity, humility and simplicity. May God bless you. Please do not take this comment as against you, but rather the whole situation. Dear brothers and sisters in Christ in the Protestant tradition, this testimony should show us the need of: 1. Faithful Christian families that disciple their children from a young age in doctrine, diligently, deeply and constantly. 2. The need of a solid local church that: preaches the word collectively and privately, prays corporately, actively evangelists, mutually disciples, fervent fellowship and practices the Lord's table every week. 3. Has a good understanding of Sola Scriptura. As the doctrine that teaches that the the Bible is the only post-canon means of accessing the prophets and apostles teachings. All apostolic traditions are contained in scripture and ceased with their death. The NT only is the apostolic succession. We have the apostles tradition and teachings in the NT only. The church even in times of the apostles was already confused and messy. You would have never wanted to receive authoritative teachings from the Corinthians, or Thessalonians or Ephesians etc. Those churches no longer exist for a reason. The body of Christ is eternally manifested in the invisible church and temporarily manifested in local churches. The local church is the one that has authority, as the word of God is meant to work congregationally in all members of the body. Not only the clergy. Please also note, that the flesh always wants someone to tell you and dominate you, to take your individual responsibility. Being responsible for your faith is a big thing, but that is the biblical way. High church tends to take that responsibility off the shoulders of people and people like that, as it makes their life easier. I hope this helps. I'm sorry to my catholic friends if this offends you. Not my intention. In Christ! PS. Born and raised catholic in the most catholic culture besides Italy: Andean South America.

Hello, I take issue with the suggestion that my family or my evangelical church was lacking in their ability to pass on the Christian faith as they understood it. Both my family and the churches I attended were ardently Christian and practiced the best that protestantism offers. The depth of my Christian upbringing is in part what gave me the desire to go deeper. I was given the best of evangelicalism, but it wasn't enough. I needed the Sacraments.

After listening to to your conversation it’s hard to believe it. I have a question for you , have you or anyone reading this text ever taken the time to to go deeper instead just surface information Am talking about like ex priest now converted to Christ for example there are videos like from Rome to Christ From Alberto Rivera ex jesuits priests or like Alex Marquez What happened to them after their conversion These priests and others are not recognized by the catholic faith you will be shocked To see both sides May GOD bless you and keep you

Thanks for your questions. I am not sure of the others but I can tell you that Alberto Rivera's stories have been discredited. He was never actually a Jesuit. I am always willing to hear other's experiences, but most of the stories I have heard have been based on bad theology.

Jesus, Paul , John & Peter all warned us agianst paying too much attention to the "elders, from amoung you yourselves who would rise up and speak twisted things" ( see Acts 20;28-30) We have all we need in the Holy bible! After that it all went rapidly down hill!

We certainly DONT need any 'church fathers'! Most of them were from priviledged families, educated in greek philosophy who on conversion to 'christianity' were quickly & often prematurely made 'bishops' ( despite Paul's advice not to appoint a 'new converted man') The Apostles themselves have told us all we need to know about Christ since they were personally taught by him! Peter said "We did not aquiant you with Cleverly devised tales but were EYEWITNESSES" ( Of Jesus life & not forgetting God actually speaking "This is my Son the beloved") Jude stated long BEFORE the 'church fathers' "The FAITH was delivered ONCE FOR ALL time to the saints ( Jude 3)Amen!

There’s a lot of misunderstanding by Protestants about the Catholic Church. When they do that, they are really hurting Jesus, His Jewishness and the origination from Jesus’ Apostles and Martyrs.

I will never understand why anyone could choose to be catholic. Almost every tenet of it goes directly against scripture. The Catholic church is described in revelations as "drunk with the blood of saints." Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall unalive you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake. Matthew 24:9-14 KJV. Who's the "they" its the church that's unalived Christians for about 1400 years. Your pope is a guilty of blasphemy. He has said more than once that the cross was a failure. That's blasphemy. Furthermore this guy here may actually be born again saved or regenerated. Most Calvinist churches believe in a biblical salvation, so if this is the case, you've got a man that's actually saved going around giving a false religion assurance in their church that's slowly taking them to hell.

Hello I’m Baptist, I am trying to accept the Catholic teachings. I’ve done about 2 months of deep research and attending the entire Holy Week of Catholic mass with an open mind. There’s times when I feel convinced and get excited because I really want there to be one church, one denomination. But! I still can’t get over the dozens of scriptures that literally seem to go against Catholic traditions. Just google search them , there’s a lot. I’ve heard most of the Catholic answers to these objections and some do have scripture to back them up but some of them really rely on fully trusting the what the Papacy says. And almost every single conversion story I’ve heard , they all have to go through years and years of convincing themselves Catholicism is the way. I have a feeling I’ll probably end up being Catholic but there’s no denying it takes sooooooo much effort and wrestling with all these objections. I feel so stressed and burned out. This Sunday I’m going back to my Baptist church to just be at peace. I’ve always had peace just reading my Bible and having a personal relationship with God. No saints, no Mary, no sacraments, no fear of confession to a priest, no icons, candles, medals, scapulars , consecrations to different saints. Life was simple as a Protestant, me my Bible , walking with Christ daily with the Holy Spirit guiding me. I had a nightmare about the Catholic Church last night , second one since I’ve been considering the Catholic Church. I really do want there to be one church , one denomination. It’s too bad I have to go through all these years of objections, 9 months of RCIA , just to receive my first holy communion and be confirmed in the Catholic Church. I feel like Jesus wouldn’t like the way the Catholic Church is set up. It’s pretty hard to get in, look at the thief on the cross, Jesus saved him instantly. Before I was “Christian” I was 18 my aunt had a conversation with me over the kitchen table about God and I immediately got filled with the Holy Spirit , stared crying for 3 days feeling humiliated and guilty for the life I was trying to live. I couldn’t eat food for 3 days , all the words in the Bible started to make so much sense to me it felt like God was speaking directly to me every time I opened it. I was born again , I threw away everything I had that was worldly. I felt so alienated from the world that I couldn’t even go to school or talk to anyone but my parents and my Grandpa who understood what was happening to me. Sadly, about 3 months later the world was too overpowering for me and the darkness won and my fire went out. Later I found scripture of what had happened to me. “”Other seeds fell on rocky ground, where they did not have much soil, and immediately they sprang up, since they had no depth of soil, but when the sun rose they were scorched. And since they had no root, they withered away.“ ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭13‬:‭5‬-‭6‬ ‭ So for about 8 years my faith and walk God was on hold and with that came 3 failed relationships and a lot of pain, emptiness, and feeling lost. After my last break up with a girl for 6 years, I decided to come back to God and this time I wanted to make sure I would never drift away again. My faith grew and is very strong now. I play guitar at a Church and do a lot of daily devotions and Bible Study. Fast forward to now and I decided to question why is there so many denominations. Then I looked into church history and now I’m in this deep, deep hole into Catholicism. I feel so overwhelmed by it, I’ve listened to Steve Ray, Keith Nester, Patrick Madrid, Trent Horn, Bishop Baron, Scott Hahn, and more. However, even with all the Catholic answers to all the common objections, and given my past experiences with my personal relationship with God, I still don’t feel right about the Catholic Church. Why do we have to go through the Catholic Church to be saved? Why can’t we go to Jesus directly on our own? I do , and it feels good every time. I’m not Catholic , I feel God’s presence in my life, I get confirmation from him. The Holy Spirit leads me. If anyone wants to help me feel free to reach out. God bless everyone. “1 Accept other believers who are weak in faith, and don’t argue with them about what they think is right or wrong. 2 For instance, one person believes it’s all right to eat anything. But another believer with a sensitive conscience will eat only vegetables. 3 Those who feel free to eat anything must not look down on those who don’t. And those who don’t eat certain foods must not condemn those who do, for God has accepted them. 4 Who are you to condemn someone else’s servants? Their own master will judge whether they stand or fall. And with the Lord’s help, they will stand and receive his approval. 5 In the same way, some think one day is more holy than another day, while others think every day is alike. You should each be fully convinced that whichever day you choose is acceptable. 6 Those who worship the Lord on a special day do it to honor him. Those who eat any kind of food do so to honor the Lord, since they give thanks to God before eating. And those who refuse to eat certain foods also want to please the Lord and give thanks to God. 7 For we don’t live for ourselves or die for ourselves. 8 If we live, it’s to honor the Lord. And if we die, it’s to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord. 9 Christ died and rose again for this very purpose-to be Lord both of the living and of the dead. 10 So why do you condemn another believer? Why do you look down on another believer? Remember, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. 11 For the Scriptures say, “‘As surely as I live,’ says the Lord, ‘every knee will bend to me, and every tongue will declare allegiance to God.’” (‭‭‭Romans‬ ‭14‬‬:‭1‬-‭11‬ ‭NLT‬‬) ”For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.“ ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬-‭9‬ ESV

Hi there, sounds like you are really in the thick of it-you are really wrestling with all of this! I think what you need is to meet some Catholics in person and have a safe place to ask your questions. I would highly suggest you find a local parish and just start going to RCIA. Don't feel like you have to commit to becoming Catholic, just a place to get a better understanding of what the church teaches. You may also enjoy checking out my interview with Kimberly (you can search for it on my channel). She felt a lot of confusion and stress, and she offers some good advice in her interview-basically, the Holy Spirit will guide you. You don't have to rush into anything, but have faith that God will guide you, and respond in obedience when he does. Again, I highly suggest you see about joining RCIA, even if you're not ready to commit. Or you may want to check into joining a Cross the Tiber group online. God bless you.
