As a medically transitioning, black non-binary person, this slapped too hard. I feel very weird in very white-centered trans spaces, regardless if they have a certain take on the divide between "binary" and "non-binary." This leads to major misunderstanding and me avoiding a shit ton of trans and broader queer spaces. This shit needs fixing because I legitimately feel like a totally separate entity from both the "cis community" and the "trans community" for these reasons. Intersectionality is really fucking painful.

I have not met a lot of feminists that were terfs. So, I'm not 100% it's a pipeline as much as it is, like, you're a bigot first and then you find a new way to do it. Well I certainly have concerns about people taking advantage of trans people giving them shitty trans surgeries or it perhaps becoming something which people are pressured into rather than choose for good reasons and that stuff goes way more for transhumanism as well so these concerns should be stated. However, the way that the far right takes this is so , so , so the wrong way.
So... this year, I had my thyroid removed and therefore I require synthetic thyroid hormone for the rest of my life. I'm 51, and have longevity genes... this means that for the next four decades, I require special accommodations that most people don't need because they just kept their thyroid. *shrug* Sorry, guys, I guess.

It was not until the late 1980s and 1990s that scholars recognized a need for study in the field of sexuality. So it's holocaust denial to accuse then of doing such things, which aren't even possible. You atleast someone to say which book has been burned, or some documentation on those books existing in a bibliographie. None of such things is known to me! No books in that time, so no bookburnings of that kind.. there have not even been recognizeable transpeople at this time, for obvious reasons. There may have been transpeople but not such which were recogniceable or openly living their sexuality. So how should there be any movement against them? A movement against anything, which doesnt fit the ideology which excludes transprople and their rights, is not automatically also an anti transmovement. It's just fashism. You have to prove that there were transpeople uand books on genderstudies, not everyone else... Nazis didn't time travel... it's not holocaust denial to say so...
