My Woodworking video give instructions on how to complete the many woodworking projects that I have created along with links to the woodworking plans for the furniture, hidden bed desk, Murphy Bed, Transformable trailer and many other great woodworking projects!
This looks like a great idea but it’s hard to watch. Did you record this using a potato? I think you could get millions of views if you rerecord it with something that isn’t so horrible.
Just got all my supplies. Question, in the plans for the 4ft wide ramp, it has you cut the first 3/8 layer a little shorter than the next layer. Pretty sure you didnt rip the first sheet down an inch or two, correct? Any down side to skipping that step or would you recommend ripping one 4x8 sheet down to like 3ft 10in?
DUDE the comp technique of you lowering the workbench with the second shot of you timed out perfectly to be ready to interact with the table and put the saw on it was really slick and I want to give you the props. Hard to do, easy to go unnoticed, worth it.
Bought the dewalt 12 inch 20v too. Mine won’t oil the bar. It hasn’t ever put even a drop of oil on the bar. It does leak out oil out of the bottom when in storage though. Not impressed with dewalt on this one.
Does the conduit go through the 2x2s in the bed box? I bought plans but before I drill through it all the attach the conduit I want to be sure I don’t wreck the bed box
Great tutorial. Needed this. As mechanic, the best advice you have is wearing safety glasses. I came thisclose to losing an eye but for safety glasses. /Bklyn👑
Thanks I just needed knowledge about shaft removal. I have a tricycle adult with a front hub motor. I converted first a 1000 watt. Kept blowing off the forks but fixed now it works pretty well. Now put on 1200 and thinking dual rear hub motors my trike has a solid axle. I am thinking about pressing them onto my axle. This shows possibility was that axle staggered and middle larger ? It looked like that. I don't know about this but ... Thanx for the post.
@@TheHowtoDadnot trying to eff with you, but you know what would make this a reaaaaaly helpful video? if you could tell us where to source those types of components... I'd like to change the axle and/or case halves on a hub.
@@mindgames11 ya...you can't...I had to go directly to the manufacturer, and they really didn't want to send it to me. basically you need to buy a new motor and swap the internals. sorry
Did you just make a 6 minute video on how NOT to fix something? Can you also show us how to not make scrambled eggs and how not to fix a hole in our boat with tampons? Gimme my six minutes back!
sorry...axels are not easy to come by. I had to go directly to the manufacturer, and it was expensive and a bit of a waste of time. I'd sugges buying a new motor and swapping the internals.
I had the exact same problem, and I hoped you had a fix. Mine was 8 months after purchase. The nearest repair depot is far away, so I decided to send it to them for repair. I set up the repair ticket on line. They gave me a UPS shipping label. I removed the bar and sent body, bar, and chain separated so it would fit in a box. Days later I got an email that said a part they needed was on back order, and it would take at most a week to get it. As I write this, it sits next to me. The whole episode took 1-2 weeks, and it was completely free, shipping free too. I don’t know what they did. Here’s what the packing paper says: “Service performed. Ground wire continuity. High pot 1000. High pot 2500. Leakage current check. Product tested.” When I removed it from the box (a box that a new saw comes it), I saw that it was spotless and looked brand new. I checked the serial number; it’s different. I won’t be able to test it until next week as I’m leaving on a trip immediately. I wish I knew exactly what they did, but that would require more digging, probably with fruitless phone calls. If it fails again? I’ll send it back or repair. It’s free under warranty, so what the hell. I’m not tossing a $250 investment unless I have no choice.
Where are the wheel bearings? At 0:49 it looks like the wheel bearings are part of the motor's plate cover? Is that so? How do you get at those in order to clean and regrease them?
Only found this video because I bought the same saw. I was using it, it clunked and you could feel it clunk and it no longer works. Completely broken. I only used mine for maybe a total of a half hour. It never cut anything thicker than 3 inches
you can't...the manufacturers don't sell them separately. I have determined the best course of action is to just buy a new motor (just the motor)and swap out the internals
I recently shredded through my green wire on the motor , I think i will replace the small section but it has been giving me an error 24 code. it would be cool to replace the plastic gears with metal ones , i wonder what pros and cons that would have.
What are you thinking dude? Leaving the winding even nicked, can reduce the flow of current! All windings have a varying amount of insulation. Yeah, it's thin, but it's there. You can't assume to suck current through one wire into the adjacent wire. One strand will screw up the whole magnetic field. I would considder rewinding it with a slightly thicker, well insolated(dark purple/red). This will most likely increase your lost torque, and then some. Ask someone with hands on experience.
Thank you so much! I just got my baby the one that has the huge hanger with it. Because my door ways for the most part don’t have mouldings at least the ones that are in convenient areas. She’s having a blast right now gets up close and personal with the cats for the first time. Having so much fun. 😂❤
I have the same saw brand new worked for about 30 minutes and stopped did not even empty its first battery. Piece of Junk. Major headache to send back to dewalt.
Had the same issues, with two of them, and now going to return this last one. Was considering getting a third one, but after seeing some of these comments I'm thinking otherwise. Mine has had lots of hours on them, in a short period of about a month each, so I've used it a lot, and was super stoked with it. Pretty much had it with the trips to HD for this product.
