In the RU-vid video "The REAL Reason You Should Buy An Apple Watch Ultra," the creator shares his personal experience of completing a road trip without his phone and condensing the footage into a three-minute video. He emphasizes that the Apple Watch Ultra's true power lies beyond its specs and discusses how it helped a 41-year-old man manage his addiction to social media by offering necessary connections while eliminating distractions. The watch's impressive features, such as cellular service, credit card storage, and robust health tracking, make it a game-changer for the man's daily life. The speaker also shares their own experience with battery anxiety using a regular Apple Watch and how the Apple Watch Ultra provides a sense of freedom by allowing them to leave their phone at home, although it may not be suitable for ultra endurance athletes. Despite some minor quirks, the speaker highly recommends the Apple Watch Ultra for those who can afford it for the feeling of disconnection while still receiving important metrics.
Thanks for making this video. I envision myself just owning an watch, an iPad and a iMac for working. Getting rid of the phone will free me from some screen time. Having an iPad will still offer me the opportunity to watch some of the content I want on my free time 💡
Great video! Good Job man I really like your channel and the effort that you put in this vids, you should make more reviews on products that better everyday life stuff and lifestyle vids
My pod 3 hub started leaking and I have to send a bunch of pictures of the pad, hub, connectors etc to get the problem addressed. I find their customer service to be difficult to work with and they want to make it as difficult as possible to get the hub replaced.
Congrats on the new setup! Having a space that is efficient, that you like working in and you like the way it looks is so important. Side note, I want to see more videos of you DIYing projects.
@@BrandonTalbot I appreciate you didn't shy away about them! I think a lot of "build" content is put out there that doesn't show how often those headaches happen, probably contributes to a decent amount of imposter syndrome I'm sure
So great to see how much planning and forethought went into this. I'm more of a "let's just dive in and figure it out as we go" kinda studio overhauler. Gonna have to check out that app you used to design the whole thing for sure. Studio's looking great, dude!
Procreate. It’s also what I make all of my thumbnails on. Thanks so much for watching and let’s be clear ZERO forethought here. I had zero knowledge of how to do any of this. I went straight to demolition - dumbest move ever haha
As a senior person I lived a lot of years without a phone and it was much better in the ways that you describe. Way too much time on not just the phone but iPads and Macs too. This will give me what I need to stay connected in a necessary way. With a 6" wrist this is going to be honking big but that's OK. At least I will be able to see the screen without my glasses at the gym.
I've been using Athlytic for around the last year, there've been tons of improvements and updates coming in; intra-workout data, hypnogram sleep-stage breakdown, and insights that it draws to really dig into how you're training and how ready you are. Highly highly recommend~
I like this. Most folks reviewing massage guns simply pick the super premium 200-300$ gun to review to get marketing kick backs from them. I appreciate you doing a review of so many affordable massage guns. Truly hope, you returned most of them and got some money back. Review quality is excellent, it's authentic & un-abashed. You are definitely sucker for the packaging/aesthetic though & I noticed you self tested those ones very superficially. Keep up the reviews
Thank you for this! Greatly appreciated! Actually I found Hampton Adams Premium KT Tape on Amazon, and it's cheaper. 135 Foot roll for $45. So that's 324 x 5 Long x 2 High inch strips. WAAAAY cheaper. Thanks again for the tip.
I think that would depend on what type of screen. Personally I wouldn't mind a minimalist screen. Something that could display heart rate and some other basic metrics
It's so annoying to me that apple doesn't make the apple watch ultra a standalone device. Even if you get it with cellular you need an iphone for it to connect to for setup and updates. I'd love to just only own the watch
I've had an Ooler for several years and it's been incredibly buggy and unreliable. Read some reviews about the DockPro and seems like they didn't fix anything. 8 Sleep with a subscription on top of already pricy hardware in absolutely ridiculous, so pass on it too. I guess Bedjet is the only option now
How do these devices cool the water? Do they have a thermoelectric or compression cooler? Or are they using water evaporation as the cooling method? I’ve heard other reviews that said the room temp dictates how cold the bed gets which shouldn’t matter if it’s using active refrigeration like thermoelectric or compressor cooling.
am considering the pod 4 ultra, but have a full size mattress, serta hybrid 3000 series. Will the pod 4 ultra (with base) work with the full size hybrid mattress?
@@BrandonTalbot And your storyline of course. Made soo much sense. Thinking purchasing one as well. Let’s see in the next couple of weeks. This made soo much sense
@@AnthonyMorales71 maybe hold off for a month or two, the ultra 3 will be out and you can get a better idea if you need it or save the money and get the 1 or 2
@@AnthonyMorales71 for sure. I mean the Ultra 1 is incredible and if you can’t wait go for it. But if you can the 3 might have some better features, better battery life, faster, bigger screen, etc.. and if you don’t like or need those you’ll probably see another $100-$200 price drop on the Original
