Thank you so, so much! It means a lot to see a creator such as yourself appreciate my work! Your "Like a Prayer" video is the best and funniest use of the toolset I have seen to this day! 😊
I play this game for many years now,and i always killing Loghain at lands meet, but i tried many playthroughs recently and then tried the option to letting him live and making him a grey warden, funny thing that such difficult character bioware decided to make him escape goat and then at the very end not killing the man but sparing him, great character voice by the great Simon Templeman aka the voice of Kain, long story short its more rewarding to spare him rather than just killing him imho.
It was the first shot that popped into my head while I was imagining that conversation, and it became the starting point for all the rest. I am so glad you like it! 😀
This whole denying Zevran thing is so weird and forced. Imma tell you right now, as a woman, Zevran is both extremely charming and handsome to me. The guy's debonaire as hell.
If varric does die, I hope its the event that brings the heroic side of solas back to the surface. I've also said this before on DA videos, if varric doesn't die, it'll be the inquisitor. Varric is the most beloved companion and inq is arguably the most beloved pc
So... One big reason why Loghain hate Orlesian is because they took his dog and pushed it to death? And then the guy assembled an army and repel them from his country? John Wick?
I agree with Lisa, a prominent RU-vidr who thinks since Varric lost his beloved Bianca that he may become injured, and after he recovers, that will be how he becomes Rook's adviser as he won't fight without Bianca so that is why he is not part of Rook's companions. I agree with that but my own prediction is that when Solas deflects the statue falling on him he loses "the dagger" and hits Varric accidentally. This may be how Rook gets the dagger as Solas doesn't have it after this and in the cover shot of them all, Rook has that dagger. If Harding runs to his side and pulls it out this may be when she is imbued with magic, but Varric survives. I also think it may be a side quest to find the Dwarf, Bianca to put Varric's Bianca back together even if Varric doesn't use it again in Veilguard.
Quite a good recap of Varric, and I was unaware of Gaider's desire to kill him off. I doubt he'll get killed, namely as he's the narrator of the story from DA2 onward. Most likely he'll be seriously injured and either be collected by Rook and crew and spend most of the game being cared for at the Lighthouse, or will be whisked away by Solas in his retreat from his 'old friends'. Either way, I'm betting he'll step out of the shadows at the BEG battle with a repaired Bianca and quip "You'd think Bianca and I would miss this? Not for all the gold in Thedas."
He's been in two full games, I'd honestly be fine either way. I love him, but I think his death would set a pretty dark tone which is what fans really want. They have to do something big to make up for the garbage combat.
I actually read the book, the prequel to DAO, because I wanted to give Thedas (which btw means THE Dragon Age Setting, - THED.A.S., not joking) and read all about Maric and Loghain... and it was a very boring very predictable read.
