You can hear her love as well as admiration for Desi, she never failed to give him credit for his accomplishments. You also hear her sadness and bitterness about his self destructive nature. Also, although she was an innovator in television, she was also old fashioned in a way that most people can appreciate.
Sounds like the same marriage I had before my husband passed away, we were both free to go off and pursue our separate interests, no checking in but we did anyway, no games. I never remarried, didn't think I could ever find that again.
Lucy always drops powerful nuggets of wisdom if you listen closely. She always looks so proud of herself bc she went through a lot to achieve that wisdom too! ❤
One thing I love about Lucille Ball is that she rarely ever says a negative word about anyone. She always pays compliments to others. I’ve only ever once heard her say anything even kind of negative about any other person. I love that! ♥️
I've met a lot of losers in women so I understand what Lucy's saying. I'm still searching for a Bright Smart Woman who has a heart on the inside and is beautiful on the outside who doesn't cheat or play games.
